When I pay for something, I expect it to be brand new! Especially if the gift is for a child! Who knows what disease that toothpick's user was suffering from!.
We bought this chair for our one-and-a-half-year-old daughter for Christmas, and she has been enjoying it ever since. She loves sitting in it because it's the right size for her. So, from the perspective of a child, it's ideal; however, for adults, it's not. Unfortunately, the back cover was cut too short to Velcro to the bottom to cover the wood and connections, and the bow was torn apart by the Velcro that holds the ears to the chair. Which, in any case, doesn't keep the ears up (this is less than two weeks after the box was opened). Finally, the fabric on the chair's arms was badly aligned, which could be seen from across the room. You can get a better Minnie Mouse chair for less at Walmart or Target, which I would recommend.
It's adorable, but it's not worth the price tag. br>br>This chair was not able to withstand my 4 year old son. I am six years old. Only a wooden peg holds the chair in place at the back. My children leaned on the chair, which broke. We've had other upholstered chairs for the kids before, and this one appears to be a bargain. br>br>The back of the chair is supposed to Velcro to the bottom as well, but the fabric is too short to reach the bottom, so it just hangs there. br>br>It's a shame that this chair only lasted a month.
This chair is both adorable and durable. My only complaint with this chair is that the ears are attached by velcro, which means that if you have a child like mine, those ears will come right off and I can just imagine them ripping or something, because, let's face it, kids are brutal on just about everything! haha. The chair, on the other hand, is fantastic.
They aren't made as well as they once were! The chair was easily broken by my 3-year-old son. It's easy for the chair to become stained. I wish they still made them the way they used to, where everything came in one piece. It was well-made and durable at the time. This one is a complete waste of time. I was wishing I hadn't brought it with me in the first place.
When I went to put the legs and back on the chair, the legs went in fine, but the back didn't line up for the screws, which was very disappointing because it was a Christmas present for my granddaughter and it was Christmas Eve. The chair is adorable, but the back prevents her from sitting in it.
Purchased as a Christmas present for my great granddaughter. There were no bolts in the box, so we had to go to the hardware store to get them, but it's a great gift otherwise. It's made of a soft material.
It's a delightful chair. However, it is very easy to get dirty! Because my daughter is playing with the bow and ears, it does not appear to be well-put-together. I would not purchase this item again.
