Yes, there are corner ties on the inside of the duvet cover to keep your duvet in place, as well as a zipper closure.
That is not the case. But I bought a duvet from Ikea, and it keeps me pretty well centered.

Must buy! This was a present for a friend of mine. It's a hit with her! I was a little worried because the duvet is mostly "white," but she didn't seem to mind. In person, it is even more lovely. It creates a light and airy atmosphere in the room. It's absolutely stunning and a must-have item.
We bought it for our teen daughter's newly redecorated room. We were concerned about the quality of the colors and how they would appear in "real life. " The quality of this was a pleasant surprise to us. The pillowcases are of good quality. We were surprised by how thick the comforter cover is. We were pleasantly surprised by how lovely the colors are. The flowers are a nice bright pink/peach against the background, and the background is a lovely shade of blue/gray. Because she is always hot, she appreciates the softness and coolness of the material. She has a black cat, and due to the material, the fur on this just falls off when shaken. This cover will fit her queen-size comforter perfectly. It's on a twin-size daybed, so it's as big as we wanted it to be. As a result, I am unable to comment on the size of a queen bed. We like it a lot and would buy it again.
I had been eyeing this duvet cover for quite some time when I was looking for apartments to move into and the things I would need; I loved the design and the price; I didn't have high expectations, but when they arrived in the mail, I fell in love with the patterns. This duvet has been in my room for about a month, and I think it's my favorite part. They're both cozy and lovely. It adds a lot of cheer to my home! One thing: I wish I could find an extra set of pillow cases in a solid greenish color to match the other side of the duvet, but I found grey that works just fine.
Update: I'm downgrading from a five to a three-star rating. Bought between January and May of this year, there are numerous tears on it, presumably from washing cheap material. The pillowcases have held up well, but the duvet cover has not. I understand that this is a lower-cost set, but I expected it to last a little longer than a year. br>br>Looks exactly like the picture, and fits my king-size bed set perfectly. I was skeptical because I've had similar covers end up being a major pain in the buttocks because the blanket moves all over the place, and I've always had to fix it. But this one has worked out well so far; I used it to replace a worn Walmart comforter. It has a faded, vintage look that I like, and it's held up well so far despite only being washed a few times. I would recommend it and buy it again.
It appears to be cotton, which is exactly what I needed. It gave me the measurements of 90x90, but even with the ties, the duvet insert that fits a 90x90 doesn't stay in place. It's as if there should be one in the middle, as well as on the sides, top, and bottom. The back color is a soft pink with white chevron stripes, and I'm not sure if the duvet insert or this cover is off on the measurements because it appears to be slightly larger than the insert. The shams, on the other hand, cannot be reversed. THE DUVET COVER ONLY, WITHOUT THE INSERT. I get it when I'm buying something, but it surprised a lot of people in the reviews. This should have cost between $40 and $50, in my opinion. For the same quality, $50 is a better deal than nearly $80.
WORTH IT! We purchased this for our two-year-old's big kid bed, and it is extremely soft and adorable. She adores it, and the zipper closure is far superior to buttons on other duvet covers. br>To keep your duvet in place, there are ties on the inside corners. Some people have commented on how the colors are off or how thin it is. Both of these assertions are incorrect in my opinion. Without the duvet insert, it might be a little thin, but the color is exactly as shown. br>br>However, for a full-size mattress, I do not recommend purchasing the matching fitted sheet. It says full/queen, but it's actually a queen, so it won't fit.
I just received this for my 7-year-old's daybed, and I'm very pleased with it. The fabric is nice and soft, the color is exactly what I wanted, and I really like the print and color quality. br>I believe I need to correct a few of the reviews I read in terms of what they actually got. It's a duvet cover, people. It isn't a bedspread in the traditional sense. It's missing a comforter to complete the look. There is a zipper on the bottom (which, if I had to ask, I would say a zipper on the other end would make it a little easier to install your down comforter inside) and ties on all four inside corners to keep the comforter in place (one more thing I would request as a change would be ties on each side of the middle of the comforter to hold the comforter in place a little better, but So, no, this isn't a sheet, despite the fact that you could use it as a top sheet or a very thin bedspread if you wanted to. However, when you get it, keep an eye out for the following features: To distinguish it as a duvet cover rather than a sheet, it has a zipper and ties. One person, I believe, mistook it for a mattress cover. It's a bedspread, not a mattress, and the zipper isn't for putting a mattress in. br>Anyway, I wanted to address these false claims right away so that if you decide to purchase this, you know exactly what to expect. Look for the zipper on the bottom, which is hidden and can be difficult to locate. Place your comforter on top and you're ready to go! br>I'd also like to point out that, while this garment can be machine washed, it cannot be dried. It needs to dry flat in the air. It's also possible to take it to the dry cleaners. br>In terms of overall satisfaction, I give this item 5 stars.
To add to that, this did fade quite a bit. The fade was asymmetrical at first, as well. But if you don't mind feeding, and because the material resembles bluejeans in some ways, the fit isn't a deal breaker, and it hasn't torn anywhere in all this time, it's a good buy. So if you like it and don't mind the fading, go ahead and buy it. br>br>I bought the whole set and I really like it, but it faded after it was washed. It's soft, but I'm not sure. The duvet, on the other hand, is extremely soft on the inside. It appears to be quite adorable. After washing, the pillowcases began to lose their color and shape.
