I bought a twelve-pack of Smart Fuel to try in my new Regal alcohol fire place insert; it's a little pricey per liter, but I shopped around for the best deal, and Smart Fuel came out on top by a hair. br>br>I must say, their customer service is outstanding. I had a problem with one of the fuel bottles leaking during shipment, but I informed Smart Fuel, and they quickly resolved the problem. I didn't even ask for a replacement bottle, but I was pleasantly surprised to receive several replacement bottles in a new shipment at no cost. They know how to treat their clients properly. br>br> I can't say enough good things about them.

Any ethanol/alcohol can be used in your fireplace as long as it isn't too pure or too diluted, though depending on what's in it, it may set off your smoke detectors. and 100% pure burns completely clean, so you wouldn't see any flame at all. br>br>That's all there is to it. Yes, the fuel was delivered on time and according to plan. There was no smell, and there were no smoke alarms (as you can see in my video, the location of the living room smoke alarm means that if it went off anywhere, it went off at my house). When I'm on top of things, people always compliment me. They think I'm joking when I tell them how much gas costs. That is why you have been awarded three stars!.
Regal Flame Premium Ventless Bio Ethanol Fireplace Fuel produced a slightly brighter flame. It was also a little hotter than Regal. I tested both products in a 7' x 15' 3 season room with the windows shut. SMART FUEL did get a little hotter as it burned. In October, the room's temperature was 55 degrees in the evening. It increased the temperature to 70 degrees Fahrenheit! Nonetheless, 1. 1 liter of 06 quarts lasted only 1 hour and 55 minutes. Regal also produced no fumes while burning. The flames were slightly lower and did not throw as much heat as SMART. . . a 4 degree difference. It, on the other hand, lasted 2 hours and 30 minutes to burn. THE COST OF BEING SMART IS EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS. 66 each. Regal was $7 at the time. 12 each. (1 quart) as of this writing. Having a lovely flame and a cozy room are both fantastic! (Note: Fuel prices are being impacted by the pandemic, which could lead to erroneous distribution and availability costs. Perhaps a new Duraflame 3D Infrared Electric Fireplace Stove with Remote Control, Cinnamon - DFI- 5010- At the time of this posting, the 03 was selling for $239. It's difficult to let go of a real, glowing flame with real flame noise and heat. . . it's so alluring! In conclusion, for the 4 degree difference and longer burn time, Regal and a knit hat are highly recommended!.
The flame is a nice yellow/orange color. It can get 25% higher than the picture at times.
The entire time I was pouring, I was wiping up fuel- I was also being cautious because I didn't want that stuff strewn about my home. But the worst part is that now that I've finally gotten my hands on this stuff I've been waiting for, I can't use it because it emits an odor. This is unacceptable because I have children at home and will not take any chances with their health. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this product and am on the lookout for something better!.
If you have old gel fuel cans for your fireplace, you can refill them with this liquid to get 24 cans refilled and a couple of bottles left over. Only the crackle sound is missing. Burns the same as gel, takes the same amount of time, and so on. It is a little less expensive. Prior to the price increase, they raised it by about 10%. It was a whole lot less cheaper by 50 percentage points. Even so, it's less expensive than the 13oz gel. c

This fuel should not be used indoors due to its foul odor and the fact that it will set off detectors.
This has a distinct sweet odor that lingers for days after you first light it. after a couple of fires However, it isn't as noticeable. Our main problem was the damage to our BioFlame burner as a result of the incident. After the first hour of use, the dampener lid had warped and became useless. The company speculated that the problem was with the fuel, but couldn't be sure. If that's the case, I'm a little disappointed because we had a 20-foot stone fireplace built for use with an ethanol burner, and neither the burner manufacturer nor the fuel maker ever mentioned any such issues, leaving me feeling underwhelmed by the whole ethanol biofuel world.
