Questions & Answers
When I asked Regal Flame about it, they said, "If you find these names on Amazon, there is no difference in the fuel." Because Amazon forbids us from using the same "listing" name twice, you'll see a variety of "options." We only sell premium fuel; however, the color of the bottle and cap may vary, but the product itself is identical.
It's described on the package as "pure ethanol fuel with a bitterant added to prevent ingestion by children and pets." Maybe modaflame can provide more information. com.
The frequency with which you use your fireplace will determine the price. For three burners to last about two hours, one entire bottle must be used.
It is determined by the capacity of the fireplace's fuel containers. In my fireplace, I have six containers, each of which holds less than half a bottle/quart, or roughly 3/8 of a bottle. They'll last three hours. It will burn for 4 hours, depending on how much fuel it contains. Because it burns fuel from the top, I'm sure it also depends on the width of the burner opening. The smaller the opening, the slower it burns. I hope this information is useful.

The title and description of the product did not correspond to the product that was delivered. The top of the line was described as "ultra pure ventless fuel," and I had purchased it in the hopes that the odor would be less than the Regal Flame "premium fuel" when first lighting and extinguishing it. He was selling the ultra pure for 50% more than premium fuel he was selling the ultra pure for 50% more than premium fuel he was selling the ultra pure for 50% more than premium% When the regular premium fuel arrived, the seller informed me that the various grades of fuel had been combined into one. premium. Because no one would buy his overpriced product if he changed the description, I made the mistake of relying on his description rather than the photo, which was of premium fuel with a different color cap. I was told that I could return for a refund, but that I would have to pay for shipping, which was more than the $80 fuel overcharge. Do not purchase from this company because they misrepresent their product in order to charge a higher price.
br>I got this stuff on Wednesday, just in time for a sharp drop in temperatures in Washington, D. C. The Regal Flame 12inch is what I have. I poured two of the one-quart bottles up to the MAX fill line as directed, and I could tell right away that the heat generated by this would be negligible. I hardly notice this bioEthanol fireplace, which is in a room of about 280 square feet with a well-insulated window. The temperature outside has been around 50 degrees all day, and my thermostat hasn't moved much. To begin with, the room temperature was already 70 degrees because I had just turned off a space heater, and after 3 hours of letting this fuel burn, the temperature had only risen 2 degrees. If I could return this nonsense and get a space heater for the money I wasted on the insert ($59), I would. a hundred seconds h, as well as 12 fuel bottles for $69. I spent $140 on tolls and 99 cents on gas. 00, which is a huge letdown.
In my man cave, I have a metal Chiminea fireplace, which doesn't require a chimney because alcohol doesn't require one. In a metal pan with a diameter similar to that of gel fuel cans, this fuel produces a much larger flame. The size of your pan will determine how long it takes to burn; a large diameter pan will burn quickly, while a 4 to 5 inch pan with a 2 inch high side will increase burn time because less surface area burns slower. My most recent gel fuel was a letdown, so I'll be sticking to liquid Real Flame from now on. Half a bottle of the liquid costs about twice as much as half a bottle of the gel, but it has a similar burn time.
The thing is, the quality was better the last time I ordered premium. Any of the bottles' lids that have been opened so far have failed to seal. When I received the package, one of the bottles had started to leak from the side. The worst part is that when I burn this batch, there is definitely an odor, which I never had before (I'm using the same fireplace, so that's not the issue). I can only assume that the standard of living is deteriorating. I had to give it at least two stars because the lights were still on fire.
We received this in May, but didn't use it until December (we live in Vegas), and I can't burn it for more than 30 minutes because the odor gives me a headache. Those who claim that it has no odor are mistaken. My husband, who suffers from severe allergies and is unable to smell anything, claimed to be able to detect it. I'll keep looking for one that doesn't have any odors.
We bought this for a ventless fireplace that we have indoors. This was an excellent purchase.
This is what I use in a small table-top display. fireplace on the top floor It burns for a long time, warms the room, and gives off a pleasant ambiance. It has no odor and burns cleanly. I'm not sure I'd be happier with any other source of energy.
Buying a dozen of these instead of six will save you a lot of money. The labeling on this product has changed since the last time I ordered it, but some online research confirmed that it was just different wording - But it's the same product: I got these for my tabletop fireplace, and they're fantastic. I was worried about possible damage during shipping, but everything arrived in perfect condition-- well- safe and secure packaging.
