Questions & Answers
They are not compatible, in my opinion.
I'm guessing it depends on the type of burner you have. I have a Bio Ethanol Ventless Fireplace Burner Insert, and a quart of fuel will last about 2 1/2 to 3 hours if I open the vent completely, but it will last longer with a lower flame if I close it a little.
I've tried them all and there's no difference. It burns longer than gel cans and is super clean, leaving no soot in my ventless fireplace.

I installed an ethanol fireplace because it was thousands of dollars less expensive than a gas or wood fireplace, and I preferred the two-burner model because it was larger. That is something I would never do. When I'm alone at home, I only use one burner. I use both burners when I have company because it looks nicer. A half-bottle burns for about three hours in one burner. That's roughly the same as a Duraflame log, and it'll cost you about the same. I have not been able to find a Duraflame delivery/subscription service that does not appear to double the price and takes weeks to arrive. (I have another wood-burning fireplace. ) ) I get two cases of Ethanol fuel at a time, which I "click on" and it appears. The delivery date is usually met sooner than expected. It burns cleanly and lacks the strong odor that some people complain about. There's also no ash to deal with. I keep an extra case on hand in case I run out because I haven't been able to locate bio-degradable packaging. Ethanol fireplace fuel is available for purchase in the area. My contractor suggested that I install a hardwired CO2 detector nearby when I installed the fireplace in a fairly small library. It's only about six feet away and has never gone off before. Overall, this is a simple, hassle-free method of creating a fireplace ambiance. I've been ordering the same product from the same company for a few years, and I've had a good experience with them.
Because of the pressure in the bottle, it sprays a little.
Working with this firm is extremely difficult. I'm not going to buy anything else from them. I'm only going to buy Ignis Fuel from now on. Ingis has not placed an order. There is a demand for this brand.
It works well, but it is costly.
