Apart from that, if money isn't an issue, this one is excellent. The burn time is short and if’you’are 70 drinking alcohol you’will’have a small amount of water left at the end of the burn you’will have a small Its outer walls become quite hot (untouchable) and remain hot after a while of burning, while the base warms up slightly. Will try some 99% alcohol and update if any difference is worth the extra $$.

Quite hefty. Excellent craftsmanship. It was well packaged. Two days after placing the order, it was delivered. I purchased two of these. It's very simple. Simply pour the alcohol into the container and light it. This was the first time I tried something like this. It burned for 30 minutes despite the fact that I only used a smidgeon of alcohol.

I've owned Colsen fireplaces for over two years and currently have three. The flames are enthralling because they are vibrant, dance beautifully, and are mesmerizing. These are frequently the most complimented features of my apartment, as they catch people off guard and provide a significant amount of heat in the winter. br>br>I would choose Colsen over other brands because the people who run it are amazing and provide excellent customer service. br>br>Combined pro and con: If you refill the unit after it has heated up and used up its initial supply of isopropyl alcohol, it will not burn as long because the isopropyl alcohol will evaporate more quickly due to the heat. This is also advantageous because they maintain a noticeable level of warmth in a room even after they have been turned off. Even if the fire is out, you can still do the "warm up next to the fire" thing. br>br>An example of why this company should be chosen: It has been over a year since I bought a small hex fireplace from them. The concrete used now is a darker gray, much darker than the white gray. My new small hex fireplace didn't match my old one because of the color change. I emailed the company to see if there was any way I could get a white gray unit that matched. Within two hours, I received an email from Colsen, informing me that the white gray unit was no longer being manufactured. They assisted me in canceling two orders (which saved me a lot of money on return shipping) and even offered to send me a free small hex unit so that I could have matching units. How amazing is it that this item will last the rest of your life if you choose this company? You will not be sorry.

The ambiance is perfect! I love that I can watch flames without having to do any work or clean up! There is a faint odor from the burning, but this is most likely due to the newness of the vessel. Does not use tobacco products. I keep a small iron skillet on the stove to smother the flame if I need to "stop and go," but I usually let it burn out. It's also convenient to be able to bring it with me. When I come to visit, I'll take you to my sister's house. Such fun! You should buy one because it is less expensive and more versatile than an outdoor firepit. You know you're itching to do it! It's also resalable! There's no risk involved.

My parents have one and love it, so I decided to purchase one so we wouldn't have to use the fire pit just to make smores. However, when it was first used, flames began to shoot out the back side through a large crack. I'm not sure I'll buy another, and I guess I'm out of luck since I'm past the return window.
