It has a fantastic appearance. I surrounded it with decorative rock. It lasts about 2 hours on a single charge. It takes 5 hours to warm up my living room and gives it a romantic vibe. It does get a little warm on the sides, but not to the point of being uncomfortable. It's about the length of two remote controls and the width of one. I'll keep it as a decoration all year, even though it was particularly lovely on Christmas morning.
It works great ****as long as you use high-quality bioethanol, such as Regal Flame from Amazon. I made the mistake of buying some "denatured alcohol" (technically ethanol) from Walmart, which resulted in blue flames that don't give off enough light, and I made the mistake of buying some "denatured alcohol" (technically ethanol) from Walmart, which resulted in blue flames that don't give off enough light. I'm not sure why there's such a disparity, but buying bioethanol in bulk from Amazon is already cheaper.
It does exactly what it says on the tin and looks fantastic in the dark. A thousand words are written in a picture.
I returned this item after attempting to purchase liquid fuel from several different websites in order to use it throughout the summer. I returned it, deciding that a large candle on the outdoor table would be a more cost-effective option for the summer. I might order it again if the cost of operating it decreases.
I purchased this for our screened porch for ambience and heat after reading some other reviews. On our porch, it looks great but there is almost no heat at all. It would most likely be fantastic on the inside.
This was purchased to be used in a decommissioned fireplace. Filling the reservoir with fuel was as simple as putting it together. Just in case there were any spills, I did it over my stainless sink. It takes a few minutes to get the tall flames I'm sure we're all hoping for once it's lit. The fire will last for a long time depending on how much fuel you put in, but keep in mind that as the fuel burns off, the fire will become smaller. The result was a very low blue flame for the last 10 minutes or so of the burn time. br>br>Overall, it accomplishes my objectives and is highly recommended.
This "fireplace" was given to me as a gift because I liked the one I bought two years ago. I really like it! Instead of building a wood fire, it adds ambience to the patio, then into the house for an incredible dining table centerpiece and into the living room. No regrets with this purchase!.
It is said to work well. I'd suggest using ethanol of good quality.
