It does, however, get so hot that it appears to be on the verge of catching fire. It's impossible to touch the front of the unit because it's so hot. This model is not recommended if you have children or pets.

Pros: Heat output is excellent. Quickly heats the room; Quietly performs its duties; It's not too heavy. br>br>Con: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is not the place The Only Disagreement I Have Is That There Are Only Two Heat Settings Low. br>br>I haven't tried the Oscillating setting yet. However, I have a fairly large Living Room, and this fantastic Heater does an excellent job of heating the entire space. This is a fantastic heater that I wholeheartedly recommend!.

The device functions well as a heater. However, if you want to use the temperature setting, as I do, it falls short. I've had two of these (the second was to replace the first because I thought my unit was defective), and both have the same issue. When you set a temperature on this heater, it must reach far below that temperature to turn on (which was too cold for me), and once it turns on, it must reach far above that temperature to turn off (which was too hot) - Hysteresis is the scientific term for this phenomenon. For example, at 72°, it had to drop to 67° or even lower to turn on, and once on, it could reach 75° in the room before turning off. Rapid cycling occurs when the hysteresis on a thermostat is too small, causing the device to turn off and on frequently, which can be inconvenient and inefficient for some things (like air conditioning). When hysteresis is too high (as it is with this device), you spend a lot of time being too cold or too hot, and the temperature is only comfortable for a short period of time.

It does a fantastic job of heating my 26-foot trailer. Even when the temperature drops to 17 degrees at night, the trailer maintains a temperature of 70 degrees when run in ECO (900 watts) mode. It's also quiet, and the controls for regulating the temperature via the digital display are simple to understand.

The first issue is that the system's instructions are extremely ambiguous. I can't seem to get the timer to work. This one appealed to me because it oscillates and is said to exhaust warm air. It oscillates about 6 inches from side to side and sounds like it's blowing air, but you have to get within about a foot of it to feel anything. Don't waste your money on this one, in my opinion. It doesn't sit well with me. NEW INFO: It's now tripping breakers all over the place. It was a waste of $45.

This heater performs admirably. It produces a lot of heat for such a small and slim device. We've been using it as the primary source of heat in a large room, and I'm very pleased with it. It quickly warms the room to a toasty temperature. It also helps to keep the chill out of the surrounding areas and rooms. br>br>We have oil heat, which is extremely costly to operate in a large (older) house. Our home was previously used as a school. There are three floors, four bedrooms, and very large rooms with high ceilings. The furnace has yet to be turned on. I've been relying on space heaters to keep my house warm. Because heat rises, using them downstairs benefits the upstairs equally well and keeps the chill at bay, so we don't need to use heaters upstairs (yet, at least). The temperature outside has been in the low 30s. br>br>I placed this one in the dining room, and once that room was heated, the heat flowed out into the hall, making a significant difference. In my kitchen and living room, there is a heater. Because of the layout of the house and the location of the steps, the kitchen is the most helpful with the upstairs. The heat rises, but not so much in the back hall, which connects the dining room, laundry room, and one of the bathrooms. Because it is a more closed-off room, the heater in the living room primarily heats that space. It has French glass pocket doors on one side, where it meets the kitchen, and on the other, where it meets the same hall as the dining room. From the dining room to the living room, there are also regular French doors. Except for the pocket door that leads to the kitchen, we keep them all shut. As a result, the living room is mostly shut off, and the heat is mostly trapped inside. All of this is to say that the difference this pelonis heater has made is very noticeable, as the hall and back end of the house are now much warmer as a result of its presence in the dining room. Because the heat from the dining room is now flowing out to those areas, you won't get a chill walking from the kitchen to the hall or into the laundry room. This little heater is the source of it all. It's simple to set up and use. br>br> Although having a remote control is convenient, I prefer to set it and forget it. br>br>The slim unit fits nicely into a corner and doesn't get in the way, but the heat still gets to where it needs to go. br>br>It appears to be a fantastic unit, especially given the current price of around sixty dollars.

It's super light and doesn't need to be set up! It is ready to use right out of the box. I plugged it in and turned on the heat via the remote control. You can select Hi heat to quickly warm up the room. Once the air temperature is comfortable, you can either use the heater on the Low setting or set a specific temperature that you prefer. My thermostat was set to 68 degrees, and I slept soundly all night! Although it was below freezing outside in the high desert, my bedroom was a pleasant 72 degrees. The rest of the house was set to a comfortable nighttime temperature of 65 degrees, which suited the rest of the family perfectly. It's a little warmer for my Arthritis. As a result, I can be extremely comfortable without making the rest of the house uncomfortable. The heater is very quiet, and the remote control has a smooth and quiet directional path that circulates heated air throughout my bedroom. This purchase has made me extremely happy, and it has kept me warm throughout the night!.
