It won't work if you're on a carpet. To get the button to press in on my carpet, I had to place a small board underneath it. Any other type of hard floor will suffice.
The thermostat has proven to be inconvenient for me. It turns on at about 59° and off at about 65° when set to the lowest setting.
To calculate the amps, divide the wattage by 120.
Sorry, but I'm not familiar with the concept of a filter. Only vacuuming the front and using a toothbrush to remove anything not suctioned out by the vacuum is recommended in my instruction manual. It appeals to me, and I find that the lower wattage setting is sufficient for my needs.

It definitely heats up quickly and to a very high temperature! While the plastic case on the sides and back of the device remains cool to the touch, the metal screen on the front of the device heats up to the point where touching it would almost certainly result in a burn - As a result, neither children nor pets are welcome in this establishment. Despite the fact that there is an auto-renewal system in place, Shutoff for tipping over, but the front heats up dangerously hot, so I'm giving it a lower safety rating.
When running continuously, my Lasko 754201 Space Heater is able to keep the temperature in my 600-square-foot home at a comfortable level. When the outside temperature is 25 degrees Fahrenheit, a 60-degree Fahrenheit cabin is comfortable. The temperature difference between inside and outside my house is a consistent 35 degrees Fahrenheit, so even if the outside temperature was zero degrees Fahrenheit, the water stored inside my house (all 240 gallons) would remain liquid. I can use the electric oven and keep the oven door open if it gets even colder, or I can light a fire in my woodstove if it gets even colder. In my part of West Virginia, it costs around $110 to run this heater continuously for 30 days.
Likes: - Despite its small size, it produces a huge amount of heat. Tip- It is possible to overprotect. It is advantageous to have a fan that does not produce heat. The 8-foot cord makes installation a breeze. dislikes: br>dislikes: dislikes: dislikes: dis There is no sway. If the heater is placed on the floor, heat should be directed upward at a 45 degree angle. If it's waist-high or higher, it's not a good idea. The heat rises to the top of the room. Really. Even if you're only 2 feet away from the unit, you won't feel the direct heat. When you stand up, however, the heat hits you like a ton of bricks! br>br>At first, I couldn't figure out why the heater wouldn't turn on because I was holding it by its convenient handle. Finally, I realized that in order to engage the spring-loaded mechanism, it had to be placed on a hard, flat surface. tip-loaded On the bottom of the unit, there is an over switch. On a carpet or other soft surface, the power will not work. However, this is a good thing because the bottom of the unit can get quite hot. Certainly more powerful than my Lasko digital tower heater in terms of heat output.
I needed a new space heater for a room in which I work from home frequently, so I decided to look at a few options. I chose this Lasko because I've known the Lasko brand since I was a kid, and I figured it'd be better than one of those brands I can't even pronounce or recognize. I wasn't let down at all! It's small, quiet, and does everything I need it to. It's obvious that it's well-made. The bottom-mounted safety switch is the only thing I wish was a little different. It's not a good idea to use it on carpet. I simply put it on a metal shelf that I already had.
With its heat output, this device packs a surprising punch. After my frozen pipes had been frozen for a week and I'd tried everything from using a hair dryer to turning up the furnace, I ordered it to try to thaw them up a wall in my basement. I admit that I didn't read the information carefully, and when it arrived, I was disappointed to find that it was significantly smaller than I had anticipated. But I gave it a go anyway, and my frozen pipes were completely thawed in less than 20 minutes! I couldn't believe what I was hearing. This teeny-tiny weapon is a force to be reckoned with! I reduced the power to 900w and left it on in my basement in - It's only 18 degrees outside, but that's enough to keep my entire basement warm and my pipes thawed. I can't tell you how taken aback I am by this. Overall, this is a good product.
I've been using this product in my semi-private office for a while now. I use my open home office to warm up my legs, and it works well. I'm using a lower power setting and have the thermostat set to a low temperature, but it's still plenty warm. It quickly heats the room, then turns off until the room needs to be heated again. The noise is not loud, but it is audible. It sounds like a white noise machine, but it isn't nearly as loud as other noises in the office, so I can ignore it. If you work in an office where people are constantly arguing about the temperature, this device could come in handy. Those who want it to be warmer can use one and get the heat they want without making too much noise.
It also gets around the office's "No Space Heater" rule. This operates similarly to a hot-air fan. To the touch, the unit is never warm. This is an excellent item.
This small heater is lightweight and portable, and it generates a lot of heat. If the heater is tipped over, the bottom-mounted sensor will shut it off. It's simple to adjust the heat. It takes less than 15 minutes to heat a 10' x 12' room.
