Because I live in South Texas, I don't use the heater very often, but I tried answering your question and discovered that when I turn the tower on and set the temperature for. say 72. The heater will run until the thermostat reaches 72 degrees Fahrenheit, at which point it will turn off, but the tower will remain on until the temperature falls below 72 degrees Fahrenheit, at which point the thermostat will turn back on. This is something that your user manual should be able to assist you with.

For the past month, I've been using this in my home office. I usually just turn it down to low and let it sway. The timer functions, on the other hand, are useful, and it turns itself off quickly. You can also set a specific temperature for it to reach and then turn off, though, as with most space heaters, I'm not sure how well it gets the entire room to that temperature, or just the immediate area. br>The tip over sensor is also very useful. When I leave the room, I don't have to be concerned about my dogs knocking it over. br>I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a little extra warmth in any room of their home.
This is fantastic! Our furnace broke down completely, and getting a new one installed took a MONTH! This small heater was set to run 24 hours a day, seven days a week. That month, I received a score of seven. It never overheated, evenly distributed heat throughout the room, and had a safety feature that turned itself off if it was moved.
This little heater is a fantastic deal. I bought it to keep a small room where my dog sleeps warm during the winter months in South Carolina. Ohio's east coast. I assumed it would keep the room warm, but I soon discovered that I needed to lower the temperature setting much lower than I had anticipated in order for the room to avoid becoming too hot. The temperature setting is extremely useful, as it allows me to set the room to the exact temperature I desire. I've made extensive use of the timer because I don't need the heater on all of the time. As expected, it functions properly. The oscillation is fantastic; it quickly heats up a larger area and can be stopped if I want to concentrate it on a single area. The safety features are the features that I enjoy the most. This heater will not overheat and has tip protection, which I am grateful for because I have a dog, though it hasn't been an issue yet. br>br>I couldn't believe how much this heater cost me. You will not be disappointed if you purchase it.
This heater is cute, but it's also dangerous. Because I bought it early in the season to prepare for winter, Amazon refused to give me a refund by the time I used it (a disadvantage of purchasing on Amazon). It burned the outlet in which it was plugged in, posing a fire risk; it's cute, but I wouldn't recommend it.
Updated on February 22nd, 2020: The heater had broken down. It just sits there, unmoved. moved. Nothing happened when I tried to turn it on. There were no lights and there was no electricity. I experimented with two more options. It has ceased to function. Very let down. br>br>This heater is fantastic! It gets toasty warm in the rv where I use it! Advantages: br>br>
- quickly heats a large open spacebr>- Has a programmable thermostat that cycles on/off to keep the temperature at the desired level. br>- Oscillates are a type of oscillation. br> The hot air travels a long distance before cooling down. br>- For a space heater, it's quite quietbr>- It takes up a small amount of spacebr>br>Cons:
- The options for the timer are limited. br>- If you don't specify a temperature, the heater will default to high (low will not work)br>- Because the front grate is made of metal, it heats up quickly (as does the plug). br>- Because the safety button on the bottom doesn't protrude too far, it won't turn on if the rv isn't perfectly level in certain areas. br>br>Overall, I think this is the best space heater I've ever bought. It's a good sign that it'll stick around.
It is a very efficient heater. br>It makes me very happy. br>It's not too loud, and it doesn't have a chemical odor. I purchased this because I already own a Honeywell air filter, which I am very pleased with. I believe Honeywell sells it directly on their website as well. br>The only thing I wish it had is a remote, and when the timer is done, I wish it didn't make a beeping noise that sometimes wakes me up.
We use this basic heater nearly every night in the winter because it's exactly what we needed for our chilly bedroom. The controls are simple to use and understand, and I appreciate the digital thermostat and oscillation functions - We use them all the time. br>br>I've never had a problem with it shutting off unexpectedly or failing to turn back on once the room temperature has dropped. All of the functions appear to be working properly, and it follows my instructions. The fan, like any heater of this size and type, is a little noisy. After a few days of running it all night, the oscillation developed a small squeak, which quickly faded and is now completely silent. It sits close to our bed (pointing away) and doesn't bother us in the least. br>br>The true test of its worth will be in the long run. I'll be happy with it at $61 if it lasts more than a year or two and retains all of its features. 81 (US). I don't think Honeywell is a bad company, so I'm not concerned.
This heater does not make me happy. Even when it isn't overheating, it keeps turning off. It's on for less than a minute before abruptly shutting down. The display's lights remain on in the meantime. Only when the timer is set to a specific time does it stay on for a while, and when it overheats, it shuts down the entire circuit in my house. As a result, every time this heater is turned on, I have to reset the power circuit. This item will most likely be returned.
