Questions & Answers

I'm not sure how to set the thermostat. ?

It has a dial on top of it that you can turn. When the room is warm enough, I usually turn it back on until it shuts off.

I have a tower heater that I can set on a timer to turn off after a certain amount of time; does this one?

Robert's set-up is identical to mine. Build- The use of timers on a heater actually limits its utility unless the timer can be bypassed when necessary. I have a heater that has a built-in thermostat. I haven't used it in a long time (it was my first heater), and I only use it in very specific circumstances. This heater is fantastic because it has a simple and convenient thermostat. As a back-up system, I have this system in my greenhouse. If my other system fails and the temperature falls below 40 degrees Fahrenheit, I'll fire it up.

How long is each chord?

Where can I find battery-operated heaters for the house?

Invest in a Tesla electric vehicle. a heater should be plugged into the wall It costs $13,000 to buy and install the battery, and about $200 a month to recharge it with enough power to run it for another 20 hours; or, simply buy one of these and pay only $100 a month to run it full blast, off the grid.

It's small, but it's a force to be reckoned with! I bought it yesterday, had it shipped to me yesterday, and put it in my classroom this morning
5/5

This thing is a slam dunk. 20'x15' is the size of my room. I followed the directions to set the thermostat to maximum and turn the dial to the warmest setting. I was uneasy within three minutes, and I'm not exaggerating. At some point, I'm going to have to move this little guy to the other side of the room, or at the very least further away from my desk. The warmth pervades the entire space. I'm not one to complain about the cold, but living in the South, where it can be 75 degrees one day and 35 degrees the next, it's difficult for these school units to keep up, and my room has been a little chilly. That is something I will no longer have to be concerned about!.

It's a good heater, but it's a little noisy - I QUIT WORKING IN LESS THAN A MONTH
3/5

For my front door, I ordered this small heater. It's great and does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's quite loud, which is why I only gave it a four star rating. This is not the one to buy if you're looking for peace and quiet. br>br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. THIS ISN'T GARBAGE AT ALL. I'VE HAD IT FOR LESS THAN A MONTH AND IT'S STILL MAKING THESE LOUD SCRATCHING NOISES. A VIDEO HAS BEEN ATTACHED.

The size is small, but the impact is huge
5/5

This heater produces a lot of heat for its size, and it makes very little noise. This is far superior to a tower heater we recently purchased for the winter that cost three times as much. I'm going to order two more for the upcoming winter months. It's simple to set up wherever you need it. It has made me very happy.

For small bedrooms, this is a lifesaver
5/5

Every night, I had to sleep with an electric blanket, and even then, I awoke cold and shivering. This was a godsend, as it ensures that the room stays at a comfortable temperature throughout the night. It doesn't cost me an arm and a leg because it only turns on when I need it. It appeals to me. My bedroom is a small space, so we were concerned about getting something too large. This is not only small and easy to store when I'm not using it, but it also doesn't take up a lot of floor space when I am. It's also lightweight and simple to handle, which makes it extremely useful.

For a small bathroom, this is sufficient
5/5

This was purchased to compensate for the lack of a heating system in my new apartment's bathroom, and it is effective. Because the room is too small to safely operate it inside (according to the paperwork), I set it outside the door to blow in. It does warm the carpet in front of it, but I don't leave it running for more than an hour at a time (at least so far), and I've had no problems. Off is a small pressure-sensitive button on the bottom of the heater that is quite sensitive, which I like. The heater will turn off even if you lift it to readjust it. I'm not sure how I feel about it, but I rarely move the heater while it's on anyway, so it doesn't bother me. It quickly heats up and provides a pleasant warmth to my bathroom.

For the price, it's an excellent buy
5/5

It heats up quickly but isn't completely silent. This heater is fantastic. It was a gift from my husband, and I keep it under my desk in my office. It warms up my entire under-desk space in seconds and keeps me warm in a freezing office; the size is ideal for hiding it in a corner or under a desk. The sound is similar to that of a fan. It's not silent, but it's also not bothersome. However, if your office space requires silence (such as a library), keep in mind that it does make a low fan-powered device. In terms of the temperature, it's similar to noise. It does a fantastic job of heating up my room. However, there are times when it becomes too hot, and I must lower the temperature. The temperature knob could use a few more adjustments, though. Overall, however, it was a wise investment. Here at my office, I'm no longer the main character in Frozen 3:.

Heat is heat, regardless of its source
5/5

During the winter, it performed admirably, averaging about 12 hours of use per day. Heat is heat, no matter how you look at it. Btu's out are determined by the number of watts that enter the system. There isn't such a thing as a magically more efficient heater (as advertised by the Amish heater). Why pay more for this one, which, like all the others, converts electricity into heat by heating a coil? That is, if it lasts. A single winter isn't exactly a fair test.

Excellent value for money, and it performs admirably
5/5

This is what I use at work in a small office, and my wife uses it in her large office, and it works perfectly. The safety feature is extremely sensitive, so even the slightest movement will cause it to turn off. That's fantastic, in my opinion. The thermostat is also a fantastic feature. It's also small enough to fit in my backpack with other items, making it extremely portable.
