It has no identifying marks, so I'm not sure. However, it is marked as imported in the description, and it appears to be identical to the cheaper import I have previously purchased.

The poker and handle are not very durable, and they easily come loose while in use

The metal is a solid substance in and of itself. The problem is that the top handle and the bottom arrow-shaped pointer are both screwed on. When adjusting logs, they remain loose and inconvenient. I'm not going to buy anything else. I'm already on the lookout for someone to take his place.

It's well-made, with a pleasant grip. My only criticism is that the hook should be longer so that you can get a better grip on the logs in the back of the stove.

I'm looking for a fireplace poker that can hold up to a lot of weight. This isn't the case. It's easy to carry around. It's not only too short, but it's also falling apart while you're using it. The knob is As you use it, both hook ends unscrew.
