In our experience, the filter is pretty good, but the installation process is very difficult. The furnace and central AC system we have installed for about 4 years has been made by Lennox. The filter used by this program can be expanded. The filter does work well once it is installed. In addition to itself expanding, the filter is placed in a plastic housing that slides into and out of the furnace or AC by means of a cardboard lining Six months after installing the filter, it will need to be replaced. Rather than an easy fix, maybe I am doing something wrong? (I was experiencing a problem. The plastic housing has plastic guides that hold the liner in place and expand the filter to the right size. Trying to get the cardboard through the plastic guides on the plastic housing is exceedingly difficult. It is a struggle every time. Am I the only one who experiences this difficulty?.
