I believe that anything over 10 is good if you don't have a super allergy problem. However, I believe anything over 10 is better than nothing. Ensure the product is the right size before buying - some claim a size, but are half an inch too tiny
4 x 16 x 20
The 20" X 20" filters are slightly less per unit when purchased in multiples. There are a limited number of these, so I ordered multiples, but you are correct. I ordered the 20" x 20" filters. If Amazon were to ask, I would do so.
The dimensions are 16 x 20 x 4 inches. It's difficult to find this size on the shelves of the big box stores, so I get it from Amazon.

It turned out I ordered two of these and both of them were damaged although the containing boxes were fine. There are several layers of these filters, but each is constructed from a thin single-layer It is a cardboard that easily buckles. It is essential that these filters remain in shape so that they can fit tightly within the filter housing, otherwise the air just passes around the border. in which these things are shipped are of higher quality than they really.
Since I have been using these Honeywell air filters to filter my furnace for so long, I have often bought them from Amazon. Generally speaking, I am satisfied with the quality of the products. However, this time, I am very disappointed with the quality of the product. I am not pleased with the quality or appearance of this new filter, which appears and feels cheaply made in comparison with the old Honeywell filter I was about to replace. This one's label is black (does that mean it is not authentic? My previous Honeywell filters had red labels. The answer is I do not know). Some of the folds of the filter are tilted sideways instead of being vertical, and others are not evenly spaced. A second issue is that the frames had minor tears, and one end had not been It is evident from all of these that quality control is lacking.
Although you might not always be able to get what you want, reading your furnace's manual might just surprise you. The FC100A1003 16" X 20" might be what you need.
16x20x4 dimensions. There is a discrepancy between the picture on the listing and the filter I received. It is printed in black on the filter I received. My system is equipped with an EXACT match to the original Honeywell filter. EDITOR'S NOTE On February 20, The photo of this product that I used when I wrote the review had red printing on it. Now that the image has been updated, I can see that it has been updated.
Several of the products I tried and tested did not work, despite my best efforts I found that these alternative Honeywell 16x20x4 furnace filters (most of which are $20 cheaper than a single single Honeywell filter) had terrible leakage and did not fit snugly, allowing dirty garage air to seep into my otherwise closed loop air conditioning Despite the fact that the offbrands state they are 16X20X4", all had improper fittings because the filters are about 3 inches wide. The tallest one would be 75" instead of the four needed. There is a Honeywell 15" which is true to its name. I was surprised to find that the true Honeywell filter is over 4 inches tall and fits perfectly into the Honeywell section of my.
Very much in line with what was A snug fit is achieved in the media filter slot with these. Exactly like this one, the one I replaced did a great job of removing dust, dirt, and pollen from the air stream to help keep the air in the house free from airborne allergens. I'm not a big fan of media filters in general, but they do a better job than a standard 1 inch filter and don't need to be replaced very often. The large surface area makes airflow more powerful but also puts a heavier load on the circulation fan, so overall a positive thing. As soon as I notice that the time is right to replace, I'll place another order!.
I think the house air is kept nice and clean with this. The filter is bought every three months by me because I have two dogs and two cats. Additionally I rotate it since particulates seem to stick to one side, so I turn it upside down so that it is able to.
The first question I would like to answer is about There are four filters in this list. A 4 inch thick piece of paper. In my case, I am replacing the electrostatic cells in a Honeywell air filter, and this fits perfectly I like how cozy the couch is. No matter how hard I try, it doesn't "struggle" to pull the air through - it does it smoothly As an alternative to the electronic cells, this appears to be a good option.
