Without a doubt. In many ways, this fan is similar to those from the 1950s. It is extremely well made and outperforms the originals in terms of finger protection. br>When I investigated it further, I discovered that the power switch is of good quality. And the wiring is excellent, with a fuse in the plug end of the power cord.br>I'm planning on purchasing another one. I have the Vornado original in a larger size, and this one is just as well made. The blades are plastic, but they're well-made, and they're a deep pitch 5 blade. Modern products must meet exceptionally high standards. Yes, it's metal. It's quiet, dependable, and yes, it's metal. Vornado is exactly who they say they are. The best air circulation systems for rooms ever created.
The three arms that hold the front grill to the fan body can be unhooked and the grill can be removed. It can be difficult at first, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes second nature.

Yes. The 'white noise' sound produced by this fan is consistent. It's a lot softer on low than it is on high. Both levels appeal to me. Other noises, such as cars passing by, seem to be drowned out by the sound.

I really like the way it looks, and it has a lot of air flow for a bathroom vanity. I did a lot of research to find the best location. I'm trying to save money for a bathroom fan. After a shower, it gets hot in there, and I despise sweating while doing my makeup, hair, and other things (I live in Florida). I looked up the best desktop fans on Google and found a list of ten sites, one of which was highly ranked. I was directed to Amazon, where I decided to purchase after reading the reviews. This is a sturdy mini fan, but not so small that it doesn't deliver for the purpose for which I bought it. Bought cream color, which may be listed as Vintage White, but it's perfect Two speeds are controlled by a switch that is long enough to "feel" for it without having to move the unit or bend over it, which I like, and the head has a wide tilt range for air direction. Unless you're looking for a super-quiet environment, the noise on either setting isn't an issue. The fan is very quiet. It's at a comfortable level of quiet. The classic styling appeals to me. My purchase was a success! And when I'm getting ready in the bathroom, I can't wait to feel the relief of fresh air on my face. The issue has been resolved!.
I've been a Vornado Fan for a very long time. I have one in each and every room of my house. Obviously, full-size fans are installed in the larger rooms. The fact that they can push air 80 miles per hour is incredible. 90 feet. This is a new fan that I bought for one of the bathrooms. The two smaller bathrooms' air conditioning vents are extremely small. It is common for the door to become warm once it is closed. I had a medium-sized fan set up, but it was simply too large. I was hoping for something a little more compact. br>br>This fan is an excellent match. It takes up very little space while providing excellent air circulation in a small space. This is a small fan. br>br>ATTENTION ALLbr>br> A large family room will not be cooled by it. This is a personal supporter of mine. In my case, it works. It would be ideal for an office desk, a crafting area, or anywhere else where there is a need for more airflow. Please don't buy this item, put it in a big room, and then complain about how bad of a fan it is. br>br>Know exactly what you're buying.
It is not worth it. UPDATE: The fan just stopped working today, so I gave it a one-star rating. Its return period ended on August 14th, and it is now September 3rd. It won't turn on at all. There is a slight vibration in the motor when you turn the switch on, but that's all there is to it. The blade won't turn, and I looked for obstructions but couldn't find any. Consider your options before making a purchase. br>br>The most recent update was on September 13th, 2018: The return/replacement process is very simple if you contact Vornado directly within the warranty period. Within a week, I should have a new replacement fan. br>br>This is the first time I've used this fan, and I'm very pleased. It's the perfect size and weight, and it's a lot quieter than I anticipated. So far, everything has gone well!.

This fan is one of my favorites. It looks good, does the job, is quiet enough, and appears to be well-made. I believe the price is a little high for what it is (if it were $10 less, it would be a fantastic deal), as there are other decent similar-looking items available for less money. sized fans for around half the price, but it's nice to have in the summer and transfers well as you move (streamlined, classic design) or upgrade to new homes. It does, however, have a 5-star rating. It comes with a one-year warranty, which is convenient in the event that something goes wrong. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> A rattling sound can be heard on the higher speed setting (and it's on a stable surface). I'm not sure why this is, and I've tried cleaning it. It's not particularly noticeable, but it's audible, and it can be irritating. Despite the fact that the problem could not be resolved, a replacement fan was sent to me right away, and it appears to be working much better! I don't hear any annoying rattling, so I guess the first one I got was defective; I'm very pleased with my new fan!.
