Questions & Answers

Is the sleeve included in the price? Where can I get it if not?

We were going to replace the unit and didn't need that part. It was, I believe, on the same website.

Is it possible to use a 15-amp cord with this unit?

A 30 amp circuit is specified in the owner's manual. GE RAK330P is a 30 amp power cord with an LCDI device and plug.

How big is this thing?

See the product description at the bottom of the suggested searches for more information.

Is it necessary for it to exhaust outside?

Yes, it passes through the wall and emerges on the other side.

Simple to swap out
5/5

This was installed in a ground-floor sunroom to replace an old (1997) GE 42" Zoneline. br>With the exception of the delivery, which was held up for a week in an XPO warehouse, this arrived in excellent condition, was quickly installed, and works perfectly. The removal and disposal of packaging took up the majority of the installation time. br>Remove the old unit with four screws. It could be moved with the help of a wheelbarrow. As well as a second set of hands. br>Cleaned up an old frame that had accumulated years of dirt and debris from the outside. With a couple of helping hands, slide the new unit into the old GE housing. br>Replace the four screws, plug in the cable (in the opposite order), and test. br>Perhaps ten minutes of actual installation time; the rest is up to you. br>The weight is listed as 110 lb on the packaging, so you'll need a partner, a Phillips screwdriver, and a dolly to complete the task.

This is fantastic. It's not very quiet when it's heating, but it's very quiet when it's cooling, which is why we bought it in the first place.
