This would be good for a sunroom

The PTAC is amazing. It's very easy to install The old PTC was taken out (I already had an Amana sleeve), the new one was slid in, and the electrical was connected. My 350 sq ft sunroom has been properly cooled with this unit. I am looking forward to seeing how the heat pump performs this winter, as last winter was too cold to stand being in the sunroom for long periods of time.

There is a low level hum that is distracting

A new GE has been installed in place of the old My wife and I installed this unit together. I like the packaged unit very much. The humm unit fails to come on when not in use. I need to unplug the appliance to stop the humming noise. There is no one to contact regarding Besides that, the unit can easily take care of room sizes up to 150 square feet. A low rating is based on the inability to reach out to anyone about a solution to the low-level hum, which appears to be electrical in nature.

This device inserted directly into the existing GE Zone line shell, but its plug was a different configuration so it had to be swapped out. It is quieter and has better controls. It has been a smooth operation so far.
