Awoco 36" Super Power 2 Speeds 1200CFM Commercial Indoor Air Curtain, UL Certified, 120V Unheated - Door Switch Included

When I wanted to have an air curtain installed in my kitchen, the contractor was remodeling it. It was revealed to me that he has done many air curtains for restaurants and commercial buildings, but never for homes. The salesman said that the size of the door had to be 36 inches for it to fit. My wife did not think it was a good idea because of the appearance. There is a strong air flow as opposed to the Awoco 1200. To use it, I keep it at a low setting. contacted their support number to verify that it would work for my situation, and they told me that it will work fine. I just want to keep bugs out since my family usually goes in and out the back door bringing groceries or other items. After that, they allow a few flying insects to enter that usually hover around the light outside the door in the summer. This helps retain cooler air inside the house and prevent hot air from making its way outside. The contractor integrated the Awoco 1200 with the cabinetry that is adjacent to the air curtain, which my wife appreciated. You did a great job! Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure!.

Mosquitoes and other bugs are part of our battle against these units. As a result of living where we live, mosquitoes infest our home and attack us. The air curtain is a great addition to our bed nets, electric bug traps, and bug traps in general. At the moment, we have it installed over our garage door and it is linked to an included switch and it works great. This ventilation system has an excellent air flow, even at the low setting (2 settings, Hi and Low). However, there are some things to keep in mind. Even on low, you can hear this unit doing its work, so it is not a very quiet unit. With the door switch there is also a slight delay in activating the unit so having a slow pull to activate the unit before opening fully would be beneficial in areas with lots of insects. Last, the installation of this system is not feasible in all doorways. I have been looking for a way to attach the metal brace/foundation to our front door, but I can't figure out how to do it because it is very high and narrow. Furthermore, the door switch excluded from the package will not work without additional components since the door swings inward. My front door is getting cold, so I would love to get another unit over the top of it. If the sellers included those parts or at least explained where they can be acquired, I would be able to sell and install more models! The top of our tall front door is narrow, so I would still have to solve this issue.

The constant opening and closing of the door made it hard for me to keep the building cool. This is all coupled with the body heat generated by everyone within During the day I climbed to 80 degrees easily half way through, even with the thermostat set at 68 degrees. I recently installed the air curtain, and the building has not gotten hotter than 70 degrees since its installation. Keep the hot air out of the room every time the door is opened with this!.

While living in the North Texas area, I often have to deal with flies, insects, and cold air escaping from my back door when I open it to use the A few days ago I purchased this air curtain for my home, and it has helped a lot. It has greatly reduced number of flies and other flying insects that get into my home, as well as the cold air escapes. Despite the fact that it does make a little noise, the trade-off is well worth it. I also purchased it for $200 instead of $280, and everything was still bundled in plastic. I also bought it "slightly used" for $200 instead of $280. that it may have simply been a returned item that had never been It is usually my wife and I who head out to the patio and backyard every day, so I consider this part of winning the war on insects and flies in my yard. I'm sure the same will be true in the winter when it keeps out cold air.

There is no doubt that we live in the mosquito There are hordes of them swarming around the windows and doors. The number of times an opening is made should be at least five If you have 10 mosquitoes inside the house, the feeling is so unpleasant that it is like hearing one buzzing and feeding on you while you try to sleep all night. A lot of help has been provided by this fan. It is noticeable that the mosquitoes are getting pushed back when I open the door. I like that it comes with a door switch too, so it only turns on when the door is opened. This is awesome!.

There is a heavy 8' door that is difficult to open and close after you have been in the pool or have foods or drinks in there. The air flow in the house is sufficient to maintain a cool temperature but not quite enough to keep out all the Florida humidity. In a crowd, however, it works great, so you don't have to open and close the slider every time you want to speak. I removed one star due to the price, as I feel $200 would be a better price point, and also the blower is noisy. On the other side of the house, you can hear it. Due to the lack of a remote included in the box, we used the remote we had (See video) I have a control plug extension that works great.

The reason I have it at the entrance to my salon is that it is impractical to keep it cool after dark.
