The product was delivered promptly and in good condition. During the Covid 129 outbreak, we've had it in our bedroom for about three months. When running at high speeds, it makes some noise, but it's not distracting. It's like there's white noise playing in the background. Because this unit is designed for a small room, airflow is limited, and the air must pass through the UV bulb for disinfection to occur. If you put your nose close to the exhaust port, you'll notice a VERY SLIGHT ozone-like odor, but the power consumption was only about 20 to 35 watts on the meter, so it won't significantly increase your electric bill. It does have a second low speed, but I haven't used it much because low speed emits a rotational squeak-type noise that I notice, despite the fact that it's very minor and I have sensitive hearing. If the noise is present in all models, some people may not even notice it. Overall. There has been no need to change the bulb, and there have been no problems with the device.
I figured that leaving it running for a few hours would burn off whatever was causing the odor, but it hasn't changed after three days. Although it appears to be of high quality, it is in fact of poor quality. I decided to disregard some of the negative reviews and give it a shot despite the fact that it was not worth my time or money.

I have two of these, one upstairs and one downstairs, with a total area of 1000 square feet (roughly 500 square feet per floor). When I turn on the units, I can breathe better in about 10 minutes. While at home on my day off, I felt like I had a mild headache and was having trouble breathing, as if my throat was closing. To double-check, I went outside for a breath of fresh air and re-entered the room. walked into the house Yep. It's the units, and I felt much better after turning them off. br>br>At first, I planned to run them when I wasn't at home, but I devised a better strategy that works: 1. br>br> ) I don't run them in the same room as me. I tried sleeping with the low setting again, but I awoke with a dry mouth, dry lungs, and dry everything else.

When I first plugged it in, it smelled like plastic, but after 24 hours of running the room, it smells like nothing! The room does not smell like a dog, nor does it smell like an air freshener trying to mask a dog odor; it simply smells like nothing! Overall, I'm very pleased with this product! br>br>.
It really works. The operation is extremely quiet.
I purchased this item in the hopes of reducing the amount of germs in my home. My son, who holds a PhD in chemistry, describes it as "extremely difficult. " I'm not sure if this is true, but I'm hoping it will help. One is in my bedroom, and the other is in my living room.
I'm not sure why others assumed this unit would be smaller than it is; they could have checked the measurements before purchasing it. It performs admirably. It's a beautiful day, and the air is crisp. There is no odor from anything, and as someone with asthma, I couldn't be happier with this product; I didn't buy it as a cute little table-top decoration. I purchased it as a top-of-the-line item because of its efficacy; It's also unobtrusive and sophisticated in appearance. It looks great on the floor next to my fireplace.
The odor of a cat box in a laundry room was reduced. The fan, however, makes a lot of noise. If you're within 20 feet of it, you'll notice it's on.
