The design is unique and well made. Instead of the normal office desk every person uses, I wanted to do something a little different. I came across this L-shaped design during my search which I found very interesting, however, the majority of the ones I found were pretty expensive. It wasn't until Techni Mobili's product came into my life that I realized what they offer. As much as I was concerned about "all that glass," I put them to rest once the package arrived and I assembled it. This product isn't really worth buying if you can get something equivalent - though you may spend a little more - because I worry about I love how easy it is to assemble and how nice it looks The design is great. The desk is marvelous! The width is not at all what I would term full-sized, however the length of the "L" shape is pretty good. It works very well as a multi-purpose desk. Assist in tasks. It fit perfectly in a small corner of my study, which I converted to use more for work. Due to concerns regarding possible chemical residues from the compressed wood top which I had read about, I decided to have a glass top instead of a manufactured wood top (which might have been more durable). A thicker glass would have been nice, but it was not available at a price anywhere near this one.
