Getting this piece of furniture was a pleasant surprise. It's made of solid wood. Two of us put it together in about one and a half hours. The package I received was something I didn't expect. It is possible I will have to buy a new.
The assembly instructions are clear, and they were very easy to follow. The product is beautiful and sturdy.
Over the years, I have put together a fair amount of furniture, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it was built and assembled for the price. Although the screw holes weren't exact, they were close enough that they didn't cause any problems. However, the holes for the fasteners were all spot on when we got the second one, so now it's going together quite pleasantly. The one I have put together over the years is definitely better than others I have assembled in the past.
I believe the bolts needed to be strengthened as well as the wooden dowels. Instructions should show the connectors at different angles, making it easier to see what's supposed to be.

Our first one was so well received that we are now ordering another one to use for storing magazines, stationery, writing instruments and other small items in the same room.
