BUYING THIS PRODUCT IS A MISTAKE! This product was originally advertised as coming fully assembled, and when I inquired with customer service, they told me that they would charge me for the return plus the cost of printing a label (does printing a label cost that much?). They would give me $10 if I kept it, though. Isn't that all? $10? Is it true that my efforts are only worth $10? After I pointed out that it wasn't stated on their storefront assembly required, they quickly added it in the top paragraph. Also, even if I wanted to assemble it myself, the hardware is missing, and doing so would cost me more than their insulting $10 offer. After more back-and-forth with their condescending customer service team, I inquired as to where it specifically states that returns will be charged. Their storefront is so cluttered with garbage that I can't find it, and they have yet to tell me where the return charge will be and how much it will cost. I tried to be cool about it, but I'm sick of stores shoving miscellaneous items down my throat. When they know they are in the wrong, they represent their products and force buyers to keep them. Rather than being cool and figuring out a way for both of us to be happy in the end, they immediately go into defense mode and attack, which tells me they must be getting a lot of return requests for the shoddy products.

Parts that are broken or missing. The filing cabinet is very nice. But. Two screws needed to attach the small wheel to the file drawer are missing, and there is a three-inch dent on the back bottom corner (probably caused by the delivery company). I'm guessing they were supposed to be in the 1x2 inch zip lock baggie that was empty and "sealed. " In any case, I refused to buy a car with a dent and missing parts for the price quoted. I had no intention of putting up with the bother and aggravation. It's all about the money. This is a MAJOR FAILURE. This is a nice, sturdy file cabinet once again. I'd probably purchase it again and take a chance because it's that good.

I bought two of these three drawer file cabinets for my office and figured I'd be fine because there was a video to show me how to put them together. The problem is that the video has nothing to do with the three drawer file cabinet. It's an entirely new system. Although the written instructions were inadequate, I was able to complete the first file cabinet in three hours (due to the learning curve) and the second file cabinet in 30 minutes (due to what I had learned from the first). I had to enlist the assistance of my husband because one drawer slide assembly, which was pre-assembled, required assistance. Inside the cabinet, there was a piece that was on the funky side. Everything was fine after he fixed that. Now that they're put together, I'm quite pleased with the cabinets.

For the foreseeable future, this is ideal for continuing to telework. When not in use, the two shallow top drawers keep supplies and papers off the desk. With the two metal dividers provided, files can be easily stored in the bottom drawer. The measurements are typical for letter size (I haven't tried A3). When the drawers are open, my printer/scanner sits on top of the cabinet, helping to stabilize it. I ordered it and was told it would take two weeks to arrive, but it only took four days (I live in the southeast). Even after I had set the printer on it, I was able to easily attach the casters and move it across carpet into place. The keys are practical and convenient, especially since my workspace is in a shared area of our house.

I've never seen such bad assembly instructions in my life. br>I own and operate a construction company. I make a living by reading construction plans. The instructions for assembling this three-drawer unit are terrible! There are no words on the page. Only the tiniest diagrams are used. It took three hours for two adults to figure out how to put it together. The videos were also ineffective because they did not pause and did not make it clear which parts were being used or which way the pieces should be turned. The file separators/brackets (part P) do not stay in place after they have been assembled. They must be more constrained. They do not sway from side to side; instead, they slide and dump the files.

I consider it a plus that it arrived packaged. The filing cabinet is made of heavy gauge steel, which is better than I expected for the price, and I am very pleased with it.

The package arrived on time and in good condition. During shipment, the contents are carefully protected. Assembled by the customer; I guess I didn't read the fine print before making my purchase; However, assembly was simple; it took me about 30 minutes to put everything together, and the finished product was far more sturdy than I had anticipated when handling the individual sections. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase of this locking vertical file cabinet, and it's a great deal for the money!.
