After only four months of use, our chair was beyond repair. I contacted the seller, who said they would send me a new chair after seeing pictures of our problem. This is happening right now because of the covid-related outages. There will be a slight shipping delay due to the fact that it is December 19th. Once I receive the replacement chair, I will update this review to a five-star rating. br>br>In terms of the chair, it is extremely comfortable. The cushioning is more durable than a comparable chair from Kmart, and the material is nice and easy to clean when a child spills on it, as well as being very attractive. The recline and locking functions are both smooth, and the lock does not become stuck. I'm ecstatic that a replacement will be arriving soon! Also, I appreciate the fact that I received responses to my customer service messages within 24 hours, if not minutes, of sending them. br>br>It's time for a new update. The chair has been replaced, and it appears to be in good working order.

In less than a year, I was out of money. Three thin metal strips are used to support the seat: br>br> One should be closer to your knees, one should be closer to your butt, and one should be further back. So, unless you slouch in your chair, you'll be able to feel the middle slat through the thin cushion. br>br>Also, because the majority of your weight is distributed across only one of the seat supports, that slat bears the brunt of the strain. Mine broke after less than a year because the weld holding that slat to the chair frame had failed. It's too bad, because the gliding action was usually smooth, and this chair was a good daily use chair (I had it at my desk for my home office). It is, however, poorly constructed and may not withstand the test of time.

I need to use a lumbar support pillow behind me because it does not support my lower back. The rocking, reclining, and swiveling mechanisms work well, but the head rest pushes my head forward too far for comfort.
Glider showed up earlier than anticipated. When I contacted the supplier because I couldn't find the instructions, I discovered they were attached to a part of the foot glider. When contacted, suppliers responded quickly and politely, exceeding all expectations. It took longer to remove the taped paper that had been used to protect metal parts than it did to put the glider together. Very comfortable in all positions, and I like how the glider rotates so that the view can switch from watching TV to participating in a conversation in the living/dining area, as well as looking out the door. This is a fantastic product that is both sturdy and well-made. Good value for money.
After a few weeks, I received one that made some horrible noises, and when I contacted support, they assisted me in attempting to resolve the issue, and then sent in another one that works perfectly fine when nothing else worked out. I use the chair on a daily basis, and it has proven to be durable for both myself and my one-year-old.
