Thank you for taking the time to learn more about this product. There are no clips on the bottom of the TV tables. It moves along a bar at the bottom of the top.
It could be closer to 3 pounds, but it's still doable. Also, two of the four tables have become a little wobbly, but not to the point of being dangerous, and one of them needs to be re-positioned. set the position of the wooden rod beneath the folding tray table in the peg-board I've been too lazy to use super glue to patch the hole. Aside from that, it's a nice, slim purchase.
Although they are described as dark espresso, they appear to be black.

The sturdiness is perfect. I recently received my new tables, and I am very pleased with them. There were no scratches, dents, or broken pieces when they were taken out of the box. They are unaffected by the situation. They don't have a stiff or difficult opening. They collapse and re-establish themselves without difficulty. I'm surprised by the negative feedback. I'm not having any of the problems mentioned in those reviews. The holder was put together by my husband according to the instructions, and it is very sturdy. The stand supported the trays, two on one side and one on the other, without requiring leaning against a wall. I just hope my stoneware dishes and the heat from the paper plates we frequently use don't ruin the tops of the TV trays. My old table trays were completely destroyed by the stoneware dishes and the heat. As a result, I'm a little wary of what a new set might bring. These lovely trays, on the other hand, are heavier and more durable than my previous ones. My older TV trays were solid wood and could take a beating, but they were ruined during the crafting process. Solid wood is no longer used in the manufacture of modern TV trays. So I'll wait and see how things go, and if anything goes wrong, I'll update my review. But they're so good. They're heavy. Sturdy. Espresso with a dark brown hue. Yes, they are almost black, but that is exactly what I wanted. With these table trays, I was able to achieve a dark chocolatey rich espresso color. They've already won me over. They aren't prohibitively expensive. They stand at the same level as any other snack table tray. My husband suggests that we get a second set just in case we have a lot of visitors. But I'm not going to put that money down. It is sufficient to have four people. I'd buy them again without a doubt. They're also something I'd recommend.
Our order arrived on time and in perfect condition. My husband (who is 6'5") and three boys (two teenagers and a ten-year-old) all had no trouble using them right away. Nothing on the tables tipped over or fell off; they were sturdy, and as long as you didn't literally fling your body against your table or a neighbor, you were fine. br>br>The stand was a breeze to put together (it took about 15 minutes), and the tables were already put together. br>br>These are a fantastic addition to our living room for those days when formal dinners or lunches around the table aren't required. Movie nights are fun with the family, and the tables can be easily stowed when not in use.
For the money, this is a fantastic deal. I've paid three times as much for similar tables in the past, but none have been as sturdy or light as these. The tables are very nice. I was curious after reading some of the reviews. But I took a chance, and I'm glad I did because I really like these tables. They arrived exactly on time. There are no blemishes, scratches, or other flaws. The base was simple to assemble and had a smooth surface. These are far superior to what I had anticipated. And it looks great in my living room. A fantastic purchase! I wish there were matching chairs!.
Even though it stated that they might not arrive for a few weeks due to the current situation, they arrived within two days of my order! I was looking for something in the Espresso color, and this is exactly what I found. essentially black - However, the color is attractive and does not appear to be cheap. They're a great size; the tray tops are significantly larger than other options, but not excessively so. obtrusive due to their unique form! In the middle inset, the peanut shape allows your body to be comfortable. Because the rounded edges balance out the larger surface area, they are still suitable for small spaces. They have a very appealing appearance. so different from the rest! There's no need to be concerned about the corners, and they have more surface area than the majority of alternatives! They're of excellent quality as well. They're extremely durable! They have a pleasant weight to them, which surprised me. They have a metal bar underneath where the folding bar slides in, which I like. It adds a layer of sturdiness to these from underneath. My mother had a set that didn't have the metal bar, which allowed the tray top to flip and flop. If it is knocked over, it will simply fold down or even up. open - But not these, thanks to the metal bar beneath the tray's top! That makes me very happy! With the Allen key provided, assembling the holding rack was a breeze - I had no problems, but the instructions are only a picture with no written or pictured steps - Although I found it to be self-explanatory, others may not. They should include a few extra screws, but they only include the exact amount. One minor issue is that I can't seem to keep the wood plugs in place, so I guess I'll have to use glue if I want them to stay in place - I tried hammering them in, but I didn't want to break them. Which brings me to one more minor point: there are a couple of very minor knicks/chips in them, but they are very minor. They're on the underside edges, so you won't notice them until you fold them on the rack. Despite a few minor flaws, I have to give this set a 5 star rating based on the price and overall quality.
The first set I got arrived in a smashed box, with three of the four tables damaged. I contacted Customer Support, and they sent me a replacement set so that I could make sure I had four good tables before returning the damaged ones. The return was fairly simple, and I am pleased with these tables. Because of the peanut shape, younger children can sit closer to the table and eat over it. These tables are a dark brown color, which is exactly what I was looking for, and they were reasonably priced. I like the stand, too, because it keeps everything in order. I'd buy this set again in a heartbeat.
