I had to take a break from installation to check my phone, so this is as good a time as any to write a review. br>br>I really like these wall storage racks, and honestly, I don't think they would differ all that much if I could build the DVD/Game storage of my wildest dreams. br>br>This is a three-piece rack set that was sold as a single unit. Each rack includes four screws for attaching the two feet, four screws for wall attachment, drywall type inserts, a small level, instructions, and a small L-shaped L-shaped L-shaped L-shaped L-shaped L-shaped L-shaped L-shaped L-shaped L-shaped L-shaped L-shaped L-shaped L-shaped L-shaped L-shaped L-shaped L-shaped L-shaped L-shaped L-shaped L-shaped L- 2 philips screwdriver, shaped In the end, you'll have three screwdrivers, which isn't a big deal. I think it'd be fantastic if they could select the number of racks they want on this page. It wouldn't be too difficult to implement now that the individual packaging has been taken care of. br>br>Each rack can hold nine DVD/Xbox360 type boxes or ten Blu-ray discs per row. One row of ray/Xbox boxes It can theoretically hold 40 Blu-ray discs with four rows per rack. Each rack has a certain number of ray boxes. If strictly the Blu-ray format is used, that means a maximum of 120 boxes per rack. For this three-rack set, choose between a Blu-ray/One size or a 108 DVD/360. Although the racks are slightly shorter in length than my 75" TV, they do not appear out of place. br>br>Because I'm mounting to old 1980s wood paneling, my setup will be a little different than most: I'll be installing the racks vertically with a 3" gap between them. I began by screwing one set of holes into a stud for the first rack. Because of my spacing, I'll be able to fit the rest of each rack's holes into the wood panel alone. In those areas, I'm only using a short, coarse screw, similar to what you'd find in non-threaded metal. These are from my personal hardware collection, but they aren't necessary for most home installations. Although the screws appear to be sufficient for the weight of the cases and racks, I may drill larger holes in the paneling and use "toggle bolts" to prevent more enthusiastic people from swinging on the racks and pulling out the screws. br>br>I used my own level because the extra length was useful for my installation, but I wouldn't rule out using the included levels as well. br>br>Overall, I'm very pleased with the installation and will be ordering another set of racks as my entertainment collection has grown. br>br>The only drawback is the price ($60), but the racks appear to be much more durable than others I've seen. They also appear to be able to hold the boxes without dropping them, which is something that other models appear to have a lot of complaints about. The racks are made of steel and are welded together in their final form. Although the welds aren't of industrial quality, they should be adequate for the job. A stuck piece of MIG wire remained attached to one of the weld joints, but it was easily broken off, leaving only a small unpainted area. In general, nothing out of the ordinary for this type of item. br>br>Because there aren't any other reviews for these, I figured mine might be useful to others. I'm about to place an order for a new set. I think you'll like the racks as much as I do. These were the best I could find on Amazon and over the course of a few days of Google searching.
ISN'T it amazing? Only vertical placement is possible with these. If you're going horizontal, make sure each section is filled to the brim. They'd just fall over if it wasn't for the fact that they're They're not well-built, and they don't work as well as they appear in the pictures. If you have 5 DVDs horizontally instead of 6, they will fall behind and tip over. They created something that looks great but fails to function properly.
It's a very straightforward setup, and this installation should have taken much less time than it did. The issue was that screwing into the wall was a pain in the neck due to the placement of their screw holes. As a result, what should have taken 5 minutes to put up took me 30 minutes, but it still looks great. If you're not careful, games may fall off, but if you stand them up and place them somewhere you won't bump into them, you should be fine.
They are successful. They should be hung vertically, in my opinion. They can be mounted horizontally, but if there are only 1,2, or 3 dvds in it, they may fall out.
The three shelves hold 96 games and look fantastic. Awesome.
These are fantastic! They appear to be fantastic. The only reason I gave four stars is because some of the holes had medal burrs in them, preventing the screws from going in properly, and we had to file them down.
ray’s. They fit all different game system cases and blu-ray player cases when set up vertically. Cases of rays I was a little hesitant because of the price, but overall I am very pleased with my purchase. They were simple to put together and come with everything you'll need to hang them.
The only problem is that I have an excessive number of DVDs. As a result, I'll need to place another order.
