Do you think they can be filled with sand?

While the main pipe comes with a styrofoam insert already inside, smaller pipes could be conducive to adding sand, but the bolt in sections are very small, so it will be difficult.

Beautifully designed and superbly constructed, it has changed the sound possibilities for my small apartment significantly. Definitely something to get excited about, and it's a gorgeous object to boot.
