I have put together more than a few of these products Over the years, you've constructed a lot of furniture pieces by yourself, from book shelves to entertainment centers and cabinets. First of all, the packaging for shipping was excellent, nothing was damaged, and all parts were well protected in the packaging, not a single dent to be found. All parts are made of quality and sturdy materials, and the glass is strong and occlusion resistant. Putting it together was easy and the instructions almost unnecessary (if you have experience with this kind of product). I took my time and it took me a little over an hour to assemble it. It is misleading to take a look at a photo. Due to the espresso color of the stand, the actual color of the stand is It almost appears that the photos are green, and they are not. After reading other reviews that confirmed this, I knew going into my purchase that this would be a good fit. It was common sense to put it together, even though a few pieces were not labeled according to the instructions. It is also quite easy to understand if you follow the pictures in the instructions. It turned out that there were two more wooden pieces in the box that were not listed in the instruction manual, and did not go to anything. I was a bit confused for a moment, but after reviewing carefully, I made sure they had just been put in the box by mistake. It was not difficult to install the door evenly, as it appears to have been the case with some before. do not extend all the way back to the unit's rear (there is a gap of a few inches between the back of the shelf and It would seem that this would lead to the shelves sliding. However, there are pins that hold the shelves in place. When I installed the hinge, it started chipping, so I bought a new one. It's made of cheap particle board. There was a problem with the screw when it was installed in the pre-installation The hole was drilled so that it caused a crack or chip around it. This is hopefully the last time it will have to go through have to admit that it's a little pricey for the quality (I paid $166), but it was the closest match to my furniture that I could get without paying over $500.

It's not a super sturdy cabinet, but it gets the job done. Also, the holes in the back board are not quite enough, so plan to also cut out a portion of the back board. Furthermore, if it were 1 or 2 inches wider, it would have been a much more compelling offer. There is some gap around the AV equipment, so it can accommodate pretty much any type. It would have been nice if it had been a little wider, as well as allowing for 19" rack posts to be installed, but I did understand that I was not buying it to.

I bought it for storage of audio components, and I was shocked at how sturdy it is even though it's particle board (the top is solid wood, I believe). The furniture was assembled in about 45 minutes by me. The Sauder products I have assembled over the years have been extremely high-quality and reliable Often, the screw holes and post holes were misaligned, the pieces tried to fit together exactly, and the instructions were difficult to understand. There is nothing to do with this unit There were clear instructions for assembly, and there were good diagrams, and both parts fit perfectly. Black is what I ordered There is no color to it. The product is just as described and I'm very happy with it.

Having to assemble is a PIA, since they are so cheap and of poor quality. Its a pain to do, but it looks good once you've finished it. It seems to be a product that will not last a very long time. When I opened the box, I noticed the top piece to be cracked in two places. In view of other reviews that talked about damage on arrival, I decided to go ahead and proceed with the purchase as these cracks are in areas that are not easily seen and did not make the Even so, I was not pleased to discover the wood was cracked right away. A typical cabinet is very difficult to assemble, and the screws that come with it are cheap and easily stripped, making it even more challenging. Also, when assembling the hinges on the door, the screws did not match the threads and you had to force them There were problems with stripping as well. Having finally gotten everything in place I have to agree that it is OK for the moment. I think it should work for the time being. This is not really a wobbly device. I wouldn't worry about it right now as I don't think it's a big deal. After I opened the box, there was no possible way to return this item. Repackaging would have been nearly impossible once I took things out. The bottom line is that this is an OK looking but cheap product that requires patience and effort to build. As well, damage on arrival is an issue that exists quite often. There is even a chance of it happening. In my opinion, I believe this product will work for the time being, though I am not certain I would recommend it.
