Coasters are what we use. Some sort of contact paper appears to have been used to cover the surface. We don't want to risk damaging something as delicate as the surface. Our tables have served us well.

The USB port is located on the table's long side.
I purchased two tables, and the outlets on each side face my sofa; I'm not sure if the tables can be turned so that the outlets face outwards. I hope you find this information useful.

) I don't write many reviews, but I feel it's my responsibility to warn anyone who might be considering this table. Let's begin with the flaws in the production process. Scratches, gouges, and unevenness in the paint The legs were cracked and the wood had split in two places. The assembly was a nightmare; the entire thing is held together by four screws and four dowels. It should have taken no more than 15 minutes. Nothing fit properly and nothing was straight, so it took an hour to put together. I had to squish the pieces together. The wood was warped, and once put together, it was wobbly and had large gaps. This is not something I would recommend to others. If I had the choice, I would give a negative rating. To make matters worse, I purchased two of them, both of which were terrible. Now I'm attempting to return them, but they only provided me with one shipping label for two items. UPS won't accept them taped together as a single package. Now all I have to do is find a large enough box to ship them back together. Don't waste your time with this table. It's overpriced garbage, but if I can save even one person from this pain, it was worth my time to write this review.
We needed a table to fit our subwoofer inside, so we built the table around it (it barely fit), but it's perfect for what we needed. Before assembling the table, I used contact paper to cover the top. Because I didn't like the tabletop's original look/texture, I covered it with a greyish wood grain contact paper that matched our decor.
This table is one of my favorites. It's ideal for my small, older home, which has a limited number of electrical outlets. I chose the used option, and it arrived in perfect condition, complete with all parts and hardware. Lap blankets can be stored in the open storage area.
If I had seen it in person first, I'm not sure I would have bought it--the top is supposed to look like stone, but it appears to be a bit cheap. The color isn't quite as white as I had anticipated. We, on the other hand, like them so much that we decided to keep them.
Because one of the lower shelf braces was slightly warped, the screw holding it to the shelf wasn't holding it in place. One of the legs was shorter than the others, and another was scuffed with a blue mark. This is the last time I'll buy this brand.
Lovely end tables. I purchased two so that one could be placed on either side of my sofa. They were simple to assemble and took only a few minutes. They are well-wrapped and protected when they arrive. For the price, I especially like the charging station on them. This purchase has made me extremely happy!.
These were purchased in pairs. They appeal to me greatly. Because I didn't want to mark up the top texture, we use coasters. The positioning of the charging ports is my only gripe. We would buy it again if it weren't for the fact that it was too expensive.
It is difficult to put together. The quality is poor. br>Where the wood dowel is attached to the top of the sides. be installed with a dowel hole up the bottom, which was assembled by the company. It ought to come first. It can't be changed because it's glued on. br> Also, the plug-in cord has small holes in it.
