I would say it's an okay couch for its price. It was essentially a kids couch that we used in the basement, so we didn't want to spend a lot of money on it. There were several pieces of furniture I considered, but I decided not to get them because I would have to be a nut case about people eating or putting their feet on them. The color is beautiful. There is a lot of softness in the fabric. Cushions on a futon are firm, similar to a couch cushion. The two back cushions were squished together in the box which made it look unattractive. believe they will poof up over time, but at first it looked like they were too small to The couch doesn't look firm enough but I kneaded it a bit and it improved, but I'm disappointed that the brand new couch already looked crumpled (see picture).

It is in my nature to be a five star It is a five-star rating for everything I do. In the end, I gave this couch four stars, but I would have liked to give it five. It's good and it'll work for those with a limited budget who have to shop for furniture. As I can tell, this isn't going to last. Ideally, I'll have it for at least three years. We will be sitting on blankets when we sit to try not to destroy the material and keep it in good shape. The operation will likely be a success since I have four daughters. Hopefully next time I'll provide an updated review if something goes wrong during my review. You will have to spray it with a freshening agent since the smell is as strong as others reported. Even so, the couch is quite nice looking. Throw pillows and multiple throws will be part of the decor anyways, so if the cushions get much worse from sitting you will probably not even notice. In the ottoman I can place my feet up and enjoy. A favourite part of the couch is the ottoman. For the price I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this couch was. You can get a larger version from the same manufacturer that is Ashley furniture for $450, which is ridiculous. This couch provides excellent value. I had no difficulty assembling it. I would say it took me about half an hour to drill and change bits with my drill. However, the only slight downside is that the cushions are not super soft - they are expected to break in, and they have, but it's an okay couch for your buttocks.

I was surprised by the chemical smell that filled the four containers as soon as I opened them. There is probably no way to avoid this with shipped, mass produced furniture on the market, just be aware of it. Putting the pieces together takes a few days after they have been left out for a few hours. It was the bad instructions and poor quality of the build that irked me the most. It was relatively easy to assemble, but parts E, F, and C are not clearly Though they are pretty obvious where they belong, I expect instruction manuals to reflect the product that is being assembled faithfully. A second issue is that the screws that came with the kit are not 'exactly' the same as those There are no threads at the bottom of the screws in the manual. I was not quite sure how to place the break between upper and lower threads in my screws, since the manual said nothing about such a break between upper and lower threads. My opinion is that this is poor form. Due to this error, I was forced to pull some stuffing out of one of my backrests after I tried to figure it out. It was an error on their part. There is a feeling of cheapness to this. There is wrinkling on the pillows and it looks as if they may never be repaired. lines, the pillows attached to the backrest do not seem to be aligned correctly from top to bottom. This is annoying. As mentioned, the chaise is not connected to the rest of the couch in any way, shape, It may not be a common feature on chaises, but this one has none of them. In the end, you are left with a sofa that costs more than a cheap sofa but that is in fact just a cheap sofa. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this couch as a starter couch since you can find cheaper ones with the same quality (maybe not a sectional). It would be better either to find a cheaper couch or to purchase a better couch from a local store if you are able to do so so you can at least try it out before buying. If you purchase this, make sure you cover it with a good couch cover since it's much more ugly than I had *
