To begin, I'd like to state that I was hesitant to purchase this item due to the negative reviews about missing components and other issues, so I decided to write a comprehensive review that addressed all of the issues that made me reconsider. br>1) Parts that are missing: Everything is in the lower compartments; simply undo the Velcro to access everything, which is clearly labeled. br>2) there are no guidelines: The instruction booklet is included, but it isn't necessary because the instructions are fairly self-explanatory. br>3) After assembly, there are gaps between components: Don't tighten anything completely until all of the corners are approximated, as you should with any construction. It'll be lopsided if you do so. 4) couch is hard: I admit it isn't the softest couch I've sat on, but I assembled it 30 seconds ago, so I imagine it will get softer as I break it in. br>5) poor construction: I admit it isn't the softest couch I've sat on, but I imagine it will get softer as I break it in. 6) Velcro doesn't match cushions: the couch is sturdy, every assembly point is firmly mounted, and the couch does not wobble at all after assembly. You can't go wrong for $500.

This couch exceeded my expectations. It had no reviews when I bought it, but I was willing to take a chance. I wanted a nice white leather couch that could also be used for sleeping guests. It appears to be far more expensive than it is, and the material has the appearance and feel of genuine leather. This was a true white that was exactly as described for me. The couch is a little firmer than I prefer, but that's fine with me. The support back cushions, on the other hand, have a plush appearance and feel. I love how, when the ottoman is pushed up against the couch, it transforms into a full-size bed — I had a guest sleep on it without a mattress topper. Don't be concerned if pieces appear to be missing; secret Velcro compartments are hidden inside the couch pieces. I'm currently using it without the legs because I like how it looks when it's just sitting on the floor. I may add the legs at a later date. Before deciding on this one, I looked at a lot of similar options both on and off Amazon. Overall, I believe this is a fantastic value for the money, and I am extremely pleased with my purchase. It's fantastic, and I've had numerous compliments on it.

Make sure the legs are the LAST thing to go on! It appears to be very comfortable, and for those who prefer a firm bed (like me), you could even sleep on it. Mine is white, and it arrived in perfect, undamaged condition. I use the ottoman bench as extra seating (up against a wall) or as a coffee table (with a tray on top) because it's the length of a small love seat. **A couple of words of assembly advice**: Everything is included, but look for it under the couch, where the black is. It is possible to pull away the base parts. You'll also get the necessary tools. When I joined the chaise lounge to the other part of the sofa base (the two-part sofa), I discovered that The provided screws were a little too short to secure nuts on either side, but they might have sufficed for someone with more strength than me. However, I went out and purchased longer screws to ensure that the two pieces were properly secured. Also - It's critical to secure the sofa arms to the sofa, especially if you plan to lean on them from time to time while sitting. Third, as others have pointed out, the velcro that holds the ottoman in place is a bit flimsy. The ottoman bench cushion is mismatched (the placement is off, and there are two fuzzy sides instead of one fuzzy and one "catchy"). I purchased two 3/4" wide velcro strips from the local hardware store, and they worked perfectly. The cushion is extremely well-knit and stays in place. Finally, don't put any of the legs on until you've finished assembling everything else (like the entire sofa), because you'll need to access the couch's underside several times during the process. I was able to put this together on my own, but figuring out what was what and where it went took some time. The instructions were mostly clear and to the point. I've had it for a little over a week and am very pleased with it. I am 5'9" tall and have a long torso. legged. The chaise lounge section is the ideal length for me. Any dirt that had accumulated (due to the fact that I was moving in) was easily removed with a damp cloth.

I paid less than $450 for this couch, and I believe that is a fair price; I would not pay any more. br>br>To begin, I'd say it's a comfortable couch with a modular design. Now, I'd never put it in an L shape, so it's not very modular in my opinion. If you want to relax, the main seat is a little short, so if you put it in an L shape, the rest of the couch isn't very comfortable. That's why it's a large seater for me. However, I'm 6'4", so that could be the case. Now let's talk about pets. br>br> It is not suitable for pets. We had to cover it after my cats punctured it simply by walking on it (see photo). We also added ottomans that are very appealing to scratch to the end (and also makes it very nice to lay down as a tall person) and it was fine. br>br>As I mentioned, it's comfortable, but some spots are softer than others due to the framework, so keep that in mind if you plan on sleeping on it. Depending on where you're laying down, you'll be able to feel the frame. It is, however, possible. br>br>I think it took me about 40 minutes to put it all together. Cuchions and parts are hidden beneath it, as others have stated. To screw some parts in, you'll have to rip a little of the undercover, but it won't harm anything. It's also a lot lighter than a traditional sofa.

This item is a waste of money because it does not include all of the components listed in the description. Back cushions were missing, and a measly $71 was offered to keep it despite the fact that it was extremely tacky. I now have to ship this back, which is causing me some inconvenience.
