It took longer than promised to deliver the goods

A vanity like this is very cute. The present I received was for the birthday of my granddaughter. The 15th was the date I placed my order. The 22nd was supposed to be the delivery date. It arrived on the 20th as scheduled and I got an email telling me it had just been shipped The delivery date was expected to be July 27. In addition to the 24th, her birthday falls on a Sunday. It was so hot outside that I had to go out and It's her birthday, so I need to get things for her. In the evening of September 24, the vanity arrived at 5pm. It certainly caused a lot of unnecessary stress to her, but she loves it.
