It does have a drain, to be sure. This table is fantastic! I used it as a sand table, and the wheels made it easy to move. I know it has a drain because one of my kindergarten students discovered it (under the table) and unscrewed it, allowing sand to flow out. After I explained what it was and warned the kids not to touch it, there were no more issues. This is extremely durable and of excellent quality.

It was a high-quality product that was simple to assemble. The liner tub has deep gouges in it, as we discovered after assembling the table. It was a huge let down. Returning it appears to be too difficult, given that the box contained the entire item and we only want to replace the tub. We're hoping that Amazon will come up with a solution.
I purchased this for my preschool class. All I had to do was attach the four legs and plug the drain. a breeze.
The size is good, and it's simple to put together, but the wood beneath the tub isn't sealed. It will mold or rot if it is exposed to water. I'm going to seal it with my own hands.
This sensory table is a huge hit with the kids. It's the ideal size for my child care needs, and it's been especially useful during the winter months.
One thing to note is that it does not have a shelf as advertised; instead, it has a lid that fits over the top. "Sand and water table with a lid" should be the correct spelling.
At VBS, we used it as a water table, and it worked perfectly. It didn't leak, and it was the perfect height for preschool while also not being too low for school. age. It is extremely durable and well-made. made. This was an excellent purchase.
