I really like it. The wood is of excellent quality. The chairs were pre-assembled and well-packaged. It only took 5 minutes to put the legs on with the Allen wrench that came with the table. My previous kid's craft table was not as sturdy as this one. Set back sent by Teamson kid Windsor, made of light weight compressed wood. My four and seven-year-olds can sit comfortably in 14" chairs. They have already completed this week's homework and have begun working on art projects on their new table, which they are very excited about!.
Extra-sturdy, heavy, solidly built table with extra-smooth silky table top (no trace of finish odor, which gives us peace of mind). mind). The table sits perfectly on the floor, with no wobble, demonstrating the (Vietnamese) manufacturer's attention to detail and quality. (We prefer the letter U. ) , on the other hand, cannot think of anything to criticize. ) The entire table is made of real wood [not crafted wood, which is made of fiber and some sort of glue (MDF), which emits chemical odors and swells like a sponge when exposed to a drop of water. ) Every piece of wood is at least 3/4" thick (if not more). The legs are capped with solid plastic to protect the floor). Metal hardware (bolts like wood screws for the legs and table under-structure) is used in the table's construction. The construction's balance appears to have been achieved using traditional quality methods, i. e. Joinery (as opposed to nails, screws, and bolts) When an adult applies more pressure and weight to the table, there is a slight squeak, but nothing to be concerned about. The table arrived in a flat box, and all we had to do was bolt on the legs with the metal hardware, which took only a few minutes. The chairs, which were purchased separately, were a perfect match. (See photo). Were we likely to purchase again? Yes, yes, yes! (We also took a look at the chairs. ).
This is something I wouldn't buy again. While putting the table together, one of the legs snapped at the point where it connects to the table. In the area where the inserts are installed, the wood grain appears to be weak. Note that I was tightening the leg with the tool provided, not applying excessive pressure. When I contacted customer service, they advised me to use Amazon instead. I went through the Amazon process and was directed to contact the manufacturer. I re- When I contacted the manufacturer, I was told that this was only for small parts and that this was not the best way to contact them. I glued the break and tucked the broken leg away in a corner. The table is being used as a storage area, and no one is in danger. A faulty table accompanied by a faulty customer service experience.
In August of 2020, I purchased this table. At first, I was completely enamored with it. It was simple to put together, clean, and appear to be well-made. My three children can all sit together comfortably. Regrettably, the table does not appear to be as sturdy as it first appears. Legs were slipping out of place all of the time. I had the impression that I was tightening them on a weekly basis. It was inconvenient to say the least. We've only had the table for a year and three of the four legs have already broken. The wood split around the screw holes at the top of each leg, rendering it unfixable. My father, who is quite handy, was able to make replacement legs. At first, I only replaced the broken legs, but when the third leg broke recently, I decided to replace the last remaining original leg as well. The wood I purchased from Home Depot is far more durable than the originals. I'm just disappointed that such a high-priced wooden children's table is so flimsy. My advice to anyone interested in purchasing this table is to simply go to Home Depot and purchase the materials necessary to construct one. Unfortunately, it's not worth the effort!.
A fantastic solid wood table with a non-toxic Greenguard certified finish. Plastic caps on the legs make it easier to slide and prevent scratching, but if you're using it on a wood floor, I still recommend felt sliders. My only criticism is that the bolts that connect the legs require frequent tightening, which I did not anticipate at this price point and which could be a real issue for commercial (school) use. I'd also like to see different heights of legs available separately for those of us who use it in a home or therapy setting, so that it can be adjusted to fit children as they grow or patients of various heights.
For my 16-month-old, I purchased a square play table. To go with the 10-inch two-chair set, I found a 10-year-old grandson. The construction is sturdy. Although the color is listed as brown, it is actually a natural colored wood, similar to the chairs. The legs were simple to put on and took only 5 minutes to complete. I screwed in the bolts with the included hand wrench, and there was no cracking or splitting, as some other reviewers claimed. If that happened, I believe they may have screwed them in too tightly. Arrived on time, in excellent condition, and well-packaged. ECR4Kids is a great company to work with!.
For a kids activity/craft table, I purchased the 30 x 48 with 22" leg height. If necessary, there is enough space for 6 chairs. It'll also make a fantastic holiday dinner table for the kids! Excellent quality and long-lasting! I'm very happy with my purchase.
And I was able to obtain it!br> I really liked this product, and I'm sure my son will enjoy it for a long time!br>The only thing I didn't care for were the little pieces under the feet, which made the table slick, so we took them out and will replace them with something else. I wanted the white one as well, but it was sold out, but the natural one is equally as cute.
