The lego board portion is also the correct size for standard legos.
They're all three sizes too small, just like The Grinch's heart. To make it possible to screw in the screw, I used a 9/64" bit to drill a quarter inch into the small holes. On top of that, the screws aren't pointed at the tips, which means you have to push hard to get the screw started, or you'll end up with a crooked screw that's nearly gone out the side of the wood and stripped at the top. The other holes aren't properly aligned. Because the holes for the dowel rods are far too long, it almost completely falls into one piece while barely touching the other. What exactly is the point of this? I'd send it back right away if it wasn't the exact design I was looking for.
It was extremely difficult to put together. Consider the ugliest Ikea furniture you've ever made, but ten times worse. The screws (of which there are many) are of poor quality, and the heads easily strip, even when using the correct screwdriver size. The screws' pre-tapped holes are a tad too small, and they require a significant amount of force to fully seat. After being installed, nearly every screw head has a sharp deformation. br>br>Once assembled, the table appears to be fine, but the wood included in this kit feels only slightly more durable than balsa wood, so I'm not optimistic that it will last very long.
This was bought for our six-year-old son. year- Lego toys are a big hit with my 12-year-old daughter. We needed a table that didn't take up a lot of space but still allowed her to keep some things set up so she didn't have to take them down every time she finished playing. It has performed admirably thus far. We simply leave the cover off all of the time because she prefers to keep her toys organized. We bought a stool so she could sit and play if she wanted. Overall, we're satisfied with it and it fulfills our requirements! PROS: br>br>

I'm blown away by how durable and simple it is to put together. It arrived nicely packaged, with everything clearly labeled, making assembly a breeze. This Lego table comes highly recommended! It was a good investment.
For my son's room, it's a nice little table. I like that if we need to, I can turn it into a regular table. My only criticism is that it isn't completely black. In comparison to the rest of his black furniture, it has a brown tint. It also has a funky odor that has lingered for two days. I'm hoping it will go away soon.
My daughter assisted me in constructing the table. We put it together in about 10 minutes. She enjoys having her lego sets neatly organized, so this was an ideal setup for her. It also includes a bottom tray that is devoid of a lego pad. So we ordered some extra blue and green lego flat plastic sheets and built a "Minecraft island" setup. On the green pad, she has Minecraft lego sets, and on the blue pad, she has boats. This is a fantastic setup.
