It'll last a long time if you don't dry it. Putting the foam back in is a real pain. I started to wonder if I'd accidentally shrunk it by doing so. I eventually got it back on, and with use, it did stretch back into place, but it was a lot of work. While attempting to complete this task, I uttered a slew of expletives. It goes without saying that I haven't washed it since.

The foam was defective and lumpy when it arrived, and it was unable to fully expand. I gave it a few days, but the foam would not expand properly, remaining "deflated" and "lumpy. ".
I'm not sure why this product is so popular. It's a bit of a letdown. The foam isn't nearly as thick or plush as it appears in the pictures. Its padding is insufficient to fill the cover that it comes in. This is something I bought for visitors to my small apartment, and I wouldn't want to give it to them to sleep on.
I, too, had a problem with the thickness of the foam, as did the other reviewers who provided pictures. The vacuum seal appeared to have broken during shipping, and the bed had already expanded upon arrival. In addition, the box was in bad shape. Following some online videos on foam restoration, I decided to use my steamer. It took me about 30 minutes to restore them to their original thickness, and they now feel fantastic. Because I had to work hard to make it work, I gave it three stars for thickness.
I needed a twin-size bed to go with my new daybed. sized mattress, but I didn't want to spend a fortune on something we'd only use once in a while. I rarely buy something like this without first trying it on, feeling it, and lying down on it. I bought it because the other reviews I read said it was good. It can be used on the bed or the floor, depending on your preference. It felt supportive and sturdy when I tested it on the floor. For a weekend, we had a large group of relatives and friends. One of my elderly relatives slept on the bed; she was skeptical at first (as was I), but she was pleasantly surprised by its comfort. It's definitely worth a shot.
You are capable of greater accomplishments. The foam is thin and offers little support, and it comes with flame-resistant socks that you must put on each foam piece separately, which felt like putting giant socks on wet feet. I can't cover that one because the first zipper I pulled just disintegrated and I can't get it to move. Overall, it was a letdown, which I would have expected for $25.
When we travel, it's simple to transport and store in the back seat of my car. I'm old enough to have a few aches and pains, but this mattress doesn't make me feel like I've been sleeping on the floor. It has the appearance of a traditional bed. My teenagers simply throw a sleeping bag on top, but I cover it with regular sheets and pin the fitted sheet to the underside, and I've made a waterproof cover by modifying a standard waterproof mattress pad. One thing I'd like to add to make it a better product is a custom-made logo. I couldn't find a large enough waterproof cover to fit it, but it's still a very useful item, and I'm pleased with the comfort and quality.
This product is not suitable for those who have previously suffered from back injuries. Purchase a new mattress instead. I slept on it once and it hurt my back; I'd return it, but I'm afraid they'd charge me for shipping and handling, so I'll give it to someone else instead. You should save your money and look for something else to do with it.
It's so firm that as I get halfway down, I frequently drop to my knees on it, then pause for a moment, expecting the pain I'm sure will follow, but nope, no pain in my knees from the lazy drop! I sleep on it on the floor and don't have any of the back issues that I used to have.
