With vacuumed foam and cover, it comes in a tiny box on the verge of exploding. You must assemble this yourself, so be careful not to rip the instructions out while prying it open. Now it's time to put it all together. There are no labels on any of the pieces. Maintain your efforts for the sake of your child. Pat yourself on the back once the foam pieces have been smashed into the cover and it resembles a sofa. I detested putting this together, but once my toddler saw it, it was all worth it. If it hadn't been for my child's love of it, I would have returned it. She lays on it all the time, and since it's a small soda, I don't think it'll last more than a year. Easy is not a word that comes to mind when describing this product. When it's time to clean it, you'll have to reassemble it. The zipper situation is cool; unzip with a paperclip. Best wishes to you.
I got one and it's fine, though it's slightly smaller than I expected. As for the other reviews, they are incorrect in stating that it is a "child proof zipper" in the description and that it comes that way on purpose, and that it comes stained, which they are referring to the markings on the foam that show you which way to line it up, and that the pieces are not the same size (which they aren't supposed to be). So, how did you plan on getting it delivered? Smaller packaging saves space, allowing you to ship more per shipment, saving you time and money. It also helps the environment by reducing the amount of gas and waste generated by larger boxes, as you had hoped. Though you must insert the foam yourself, which isn't difficult if you follow the instructions, I would recommend doing so with caution because it isn't made of military grade material and some have reported issues with it ripping due to trying to shove the foam in instead of giving it a light squeeze when inserting it into place (it helps to have a second person hold it open for you), but overall is a decent product and comes as advertised no complaints.
It was nearly impossible to put this item together. During the Super Bowl, five adults attempted to put it together (before the alcohol!). ) and was unable to come up with a solution. It was returned to its original position. The foam is shrunk into a single small box, and the cover is packaged separately. They do this to save money, but when you pay $70 for a children's sofa, you shouldn't have to put it together that way, and the cover is washable, so you can remove it and start over. Thank you, but no thanks. I bought another one from someone else, it arrived, it was unpacked, and the kids were able to sit or lie down on it. That is the proper way to go about it.
(I'm putting it together. ) My 15-month-old loves it because it's so cute and comfortable! It's the perfect size for him to sit or lie down on. It does not come assembled, unfortunately. Putting it together wasn't nearly as difficult as some have made it out to be. I usually have my husband assemble everything, but I was so excited for this that I decided to do it myself. It took about ten minutes for me to complete the task. For someone who despises reading directions, this is quite impressive! (It would be helpful if the cushions themselves were labeled to make assembly easier. ).
br>Save your money because it is insufficient for three children, as stated!.
So far, everything appears to be going well. Both of my children, who are 5 years old, are of a size that I like. There is enough room for one person to sit comfortably. Just a heads up, you'll need to assemble it. Even though there are instructions, the fact that I had to construct it surprised me.
It's not worth the trouble. To be honest, it didn't live up to my expectations. The foam inserts didn't quite fit or match up in size, making it difficult to get them into the provided cloth. My zipper was also missing, but I was able to zip it up somehow. My two-year-old son appears to be unconcerned about it. However, it appears to be a bit shoddy and sloppy. I believe they could have done a better job on the production. However, it functions in general. 3 stars. However, to be completely honest. Make a financial plan.
If only it were possible to put it all together. For starters, because the foam was vacuum sealed and could fit into such a small box, returning it will be difficult. br>br>Some have complained about the lack of instructions, but trust me, even if you did get them, they aren't very clear. It doesn't help that the diagram gives you conflicting information, and there are foam pieces that aren't properly cut to fit into this cheaply made cover. br>br>This is one of the most overpriced foam cuts I've ever seen with a sheet. br>br>If I were sent something similar at random and had to guess the price, I'd say it'd be around $10 to $20. For $54. It's a total rip-off at 99 dollars. EDIT: br>br> This is finally finished, and I'm happy to report that my daughter adores it. That takes some of the sting out of how difficult it was to get everything set up correctly. However, I cannot recommend the assembly of this product to anyone who has children who are looking forward to seeing the finished product; be warned, it is not easy to put together, but as another reviewer stated, if you end up buying it, keep trying because your child will love it. br>br>Unfortunately, I'm not sure how long this will last; it's only been one day, and there's already a crayon mark on the fabric, and the thought of reassembling it if I want to wash the fabric makes me cringe. br>br>While the end result will be something your child will enjoy, I would strongly advise you to go with a ready-made option.
