It's a little disappointing, but it's still usable

I'm not sure if this desk has an "original" prototype, but it's the second one we've bought for this purpose. The first desk was clearly made by a different company, and it was a much more durable product. What I don't like about this one is that you have to adjust the screws to adjust the desk and chair height, rather than lifting the desk/chair to release the lever, adjust, and have the lever click into place. For what I thought I was getting, it was a complete waste of money. I'll get a new desk later, but first I'm going to look around the store.

This piece of metal is insanely difficult

I'm not sure what people mean when they say it's simple to put together. I made it all the way to the desk stand. I got up and left. Because the instructions aren't even the correct instructions, they don't help at all. It states that you must follow these steps in order to install a drawer. The drawer is already in place. It clearly states that it includes a variety of screws. That is not the case. The directions are completely incomprehensible. & You won't be able to find a video on how to put it together, of course.

Sturdy! The desk is a big hit with my grandson. It's built to last. It was relatively simple to put together for my friend. It would have taken me longer because I am older and things take longer for me. I'm grateful for her availability. My grandson, like everyone else, required a workstation at home.
