The distance between the floor and the seat is approximately 9 inches.
Okay, I'll forward this to the appropriate department. Thank You
Hello,br>I'm happy to let you know that the rocking chair is hand-painted. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help you!
Rishy
It is entirely dependent on the size of the name you wish to write. Above the frog's crown, I think it would look great. I was apprehensive about ordering this chair because I was worried about the quality. I was blown away by how nice it was, and the painting on the chair was stunning. This is something I strongly suggest you do. With the new parents, it was a big hit!

This chair can withstand an active 5-year-old standing, sitting, and climbing it. So far. The screws didn't seem to 'fit' any of the pre-drilled holes, which was a drawback. created a void I didn't have a drill, and the ends were flat rather than pointy, so it was a frustrating build. The screw heads on the bottom "rocking feet" are still pointing out, which interferes with rocking and, if dragged, will ruin the floor. br>br>Aside from that, it's holding up well; any wear is to be expected given how it's being used, and I'm surprised it's holding up against my child based on the "quickly broke" reviews. Of course, we don't let him use it inappropriately for longer than we catch him, but I'd say he's pretty tough on it, so kudos to him. I'll make an update if something goes wrong.
Unfortunately, one of the chair's pieces cracked while I was putting it together. I contacted the manufacturer, who was extremely helpful and promptly sent me a replacement part, which arrived a few days later (sadly, well after my daughter's birthday). When I reassembled the chair, I noticed that one of the rocker legs was poorly glued and did not align with the rest of the chair, which I realized was the source of the first crack (me attempting to screw things together that would never fit). I called the manufacturer again, and they were very helpful, sending me the replacement part; however, I just attempted to put the chair together for the third time, and this beam is also incorrectly glued and screwed, so it does not fit (plus the coloring is much lighter). br>br>It's been nearly a month since my daughter's birthday, and I'm sadly dismantling it to pack it in a box and return it to Amazon. She doesn't have a rocking chair, so I'm back to having to find her one (and it's way past her birthday), and I'm having to deal with the hassle of returning a product that I thought would bring my child a lot of joy. I'm hoping that the manufacturer's quality control can be improved so that no one else has to go through what I did.
Also, it's quite lovely. She's wearing a size 2t, so she's quite tall. So, if yours is short, you'll have to do what I did at first and put them on it every time.
Such a letdown. The chair was delivered on time. It turned out to be very cute and simple to make. As a Christmas present for my daughter, I hid it and covered it. br>br>When I went to get it on Christmas Eve, I discovered two screws were missing. When I put it together, I knew they were snug, but then I noticed the arms were slack! I dismantled and reassembled the entire thing. There were no loose screws. My daughter adored it and rocked in it for about ten minutes before the arms loosened up again! The arms and seat continued to come loose even after I tightened the screws again. She was rocking the next day, and one of the slats had nearly broken in half! br>br>Now it's just sitting in the garage, doing nothing. My poor daughter's heart was broken. This is a complete and utter waste of time. I'm completely let down. What a colossal squandering of funds.
The hole for one of the screws was stripped, and underneath the chair back, a large chunk of wood was missing from the bottom crossmember of the seat, and then two of the four rocker bolts snapped. I work for a Lean Manufacturing Company, and we don't send defective products to customers and expect them to fix them. It's not cost effective, and it doesn't build trust in your customers. Now it's Christmas Eve tomorrow, and it's too late to return it. It's a lovely rocking chair, but it's riddled with flaws.
I have never seen a more beautiful rocking chair than this Fantasy Fields children's rocking chair. It was purchased for my granddaughter, and it was assembled by my daughter, and everyone in the family thinks it is the best ever! It was a fantastic birthday present, and it will be passed down to future generations of grandchildren. I purchased it from Amazon because they are a fantastic company to work with and take care of you if something goes wrong. This rocking chair will not let you down. It's painted in such a lovely manner that any little girl would adore it.
I expected a few scratches when we received the item from the wearhouse. However, when it came time to assemble it for my grandson, the wood had some chips in it. I had to use gorilla glue to repair it, and I even needed an extra screw for one of the pieces because the preset hole was drilled out too large for the original screw. We got it fixed, and it's now stable except for the Gee scratches. Wait for them to come back in stock before you buy anything from Wearhouse.
It's a very cute chair. The cross bar at the bottom of the chair did not fit properly, but otherwise it appears to be well made. When my husband screwed it in, it was flimsy, and the wood cracked. He had to glue it back together where it had cracked, and then he had to design his own cross bar to go over it. I'm not sure if this one was the only one that wasn't made to fit properly, or if it's the case with all of them. On the plus side, I like the chair, and it is now solid and safe thanks to my husband's repairs. The cross bar, in my opinion, should be made better and stronger, as well as fit better.
