All the pieces are wooden dowels, and you cannot screw anything together until the end, so everything kept falling apart before we could get everything secure. I love this product! It's durable and looks awesome. My intention was to use it as a temporary closet for the nursery and I was worried it would be too big, but it's the Throughout the assembly, however, a different story unfolded. The pile of dress up clothes was taking over her room, so this is a good idea! It was easy to put together, and I was able to do it myself in Jewelry, purses, and dress up shoes can all be stored in the three pink bins at the bottom. There is a rod in her room that hangs nicely all her princess costumes and other dress ups. Moreover, the shelf at the top of the unit won me over to this unit over others. The side that's not pictured (the side opposite the mirror) has a lot of space for hats, fairy wings, etc. I wish it had some hooks for jewelry, but I think Command adhesive hooks will work well.

Although it could hold longer outfits, it holds only shorter ones. bought this costume closet for my granddaughter, who is 4 years old, as well as a number of costumes for her. As a result, I had to squish the costumes in at the bottom since they were too long.
