This is a lovely table. It's about the same size as a card table. Four people can comfortably sit at the table for cards, but it may be too small for place settings, food, and other items if used as a kitchen table.
I use a big-box store's inexpensive wood cleaner. You can use any product that is safe to use on wood surfaces. I use my garage table every day, so it gets filthy quickly, but cleaning it is a breeze.
The sides of the legs are finished, but the bottoms of each leg are left unfinished and protected by a large plastic protector.
The table is 31" long from scallop to scallop, but it can easily accommodate one 36" person. For card games, I use mine a lot.

I bought it to use in our garage as a kind of all-purpose extra work/hobby space or a casual hangout spot for a quick chat and a cup of tea. When compared to the asking price of standard metal frame/vinyl topped card tables, it's a particularly good deal. My husband was whining, and I was only half-listening to him. It's way too heavy, they joke. This isn't a common complaint about mass-produced mobile furniture. It's incredibly sturdy! There is no wobbling, the finish is smooth, and there is no overpowering chemical odor. And it's all beautifully packaged; Ours arrived on a rainy day and sat on our porch for hours, so I was relieved to find it double boxed and carefully wrapped. I've ordered higher-end items that haven't been packaged with the same care. br>br>One reviewer claimed that the legs did not lock, but the table I received in early 2019 does. The scalloped cherry finish, which isn't actually cherry, was my choice. Cherry wood has a reddish hue and has a more formal appearance. This is more of a low sheen medium brown, which I'd describe as walnut or fruitwood. I'm curious about the finish on this table because it's also available in fruitwood. br>br>It may be portable and only intended for extra seating for kids or doing games and puzzles, but as a college student on a budget, I wouldn't have hesitated to use it as a full-time dining table in my tiny apartment. It puts anything from the big box stores to shame. It's worth noting that it's slightly smaller than a standard card table, but the extra inches are well worth it. However, because it is so sturdy, I wouldn't want my elderly mother to carry it around. If that isn't a concern for you, go ahead and buy it. For quality, appearance, and affordability, I give it five out of five stars.
I felt comfortable spending a little more on the table because it had excellent reviews. It arrived with one corner of the box crushed, but once unpacked, it appeared to be in good condition. (It's a beautiful wood. ) It opened easily to the standing table, but it is wobbly and has dried glue seeping out of every mitered corner upon inspection. Before being sold, it should've been wiped or sanded! It isn't going to stay with me.

This table was simple to assemble and set up, and it looks great. We needed a small table for our small apartment, and I planned to put it up after our Christmas guests left, but it's been so useful that I've kept it up and continue to use it. This is SO much nicer than the standard all-plastic, low-quality department store folding table that seems to be all that's available these days. It's made of solid wood and is made of real wood. It is a solid wood table, not particle board or laminated wood. The height is ideal, and it looks great. It's nice enough to use as a small dining table full-time if desired, or to have extra guests use when the dining room table isn't big enough. br>The only flaw is that one of the edges was slightly dented during shipping. I haven't made a big deal about it because it is primarily the responsibility of the shipper. However, to avoid this, it could be better protected on the edges. br>Anyway, the shippers in this area are a bunch of baboons who enjoy destroying things. As a result, I can't really hold the manufacturer responsible. br>THE TABLE IS VERY NICE!.
We live in a small house and plan to expand to add a dining room in the future, but we needed a temporary solution. We purchased two sets of Stakmore folding chairs as well as a folding table from the company. They go together perfectly and are far more durable than the plastic ones available today. It's lovely and it fulfills the requirement. It certainly does not appear to be a folding table!.
The leg lengths aren't even (2" off!). The table becomes wobbly as a result of this. As a result, I placed wooden blocks under them to make the legs the same length. br>br>However, the table shakes due to the weak and unstable hinges. Yes, this scumbag has been returned. Stay away! br>br>.
