Greetings, Harold. The table measures 4 feet wide by 2 feet deep. I can't imagine a way to make this design better for the price. It's still one of my most used and adaptable work surfaces. Leonard
This table, unlike the 4428, does not fold in half. Also, the legs aren't quite right.
From end to end, the leg base measures just over 19 1/4 inches. As a result, 19 3/8 inches would be required to fit in a defined space.

What a waste of time. Last year, I purchased a Lifetime folding table from Costco, and when I moved, I ordered two more from Amazon. NOT AT ALL THE SAME. Look at the image. The self-adjusting mechanism is included in the 80370 purchased at Costco (see photo). The red levers are found in 80370. The 80160 does not have this feature, and putting it up/stowing it requires two sets of hands. The 80160 has a lower quality in every way. Yes, it works fine once it's set up, but it's a shame to go from feeling like the smartest girl in the land (the 80370 is fantastic as a multipurpose table) to feeling like the dopiest, because it never occurred to me to double-check model numbers. Note: On Amazon, if you look for Lifetime 80370, you'll find the 80160. Photo: On the left, there's a phone number: 80370. The quality is far superior.
We have a version of this table that I bought about three years ago and we adore it. This one was given to me to use at work, but it's not the same. It's swaying a lot! (See video) I looked to see if it had been put together incorrectly or if there was something missing that would make it more stable, but I believe it is built this way. This is a huge letdown. We're going to send it back to you. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> Customer service at Lifetime told me that this level of "play" was typical for this model. Personally, I believe it is better suited to a seesaw than a table.
For me, this was an ideal purchase. I saw some negative reviews, but I'm glad I didn't pay attention to them. I don't think I spent more than five minutes putting this table together. No exaggerations, I believe it took me about a minute. I didn't see any instructions, but I didn't bother looking for them because after reading one review where someone said they opened the table by turning it on its side, I assumed I'd do the same. As soon as I did that, I realized it was the type with the little locking buttons you press in to adjust the height. That wasn't difficult to figure out because every home gym I've owned seems to use the same locking mechanisms. As I adjusted the height, I pressed the buttons in and gently pulled the leg with my toes to keep the fingers on both hands in contact with the bottom. It may sound odd, but it wasn't. It's possible to do it without shoes, but I was barefoot at the time. I'm using it as a sewing table, so it's set at a perfect height for me, and it's very sturdy. It's also a lot cheaper than buying a sewing table. It comes highly recommended from me.
I bought it to use as a cutting table for fabric. At its highest point, it's ideal for this. In my tiny apartment, I can hide it behind the couch when it's not in use.
My wife has had one of these tables for over a year and absolutely loves it. I couldn't have hers because she wouldn't let me, so I went out and bought one for myself. We don't have any issues. br>br>However, after hearing some complaints about how difficult it was for one person to adjust the leg height on this table, I decided to investigate further. Yes, I can see how one person might have issues if the table is turned upside down. TURN THE TABLE ONTO ITS SIDE. br>br> br>br>Fold the legs in half. br>br>I leaned the table against a sofa and propped it up on its side. br>br>Sit, kneel, or squat with your back against the table's underside. Put your hands in a position where you can press a button with each of your thumbs. Extend the legs by using your knee or foot while holding the buttons. If you're unable to do so due to physical limitations, there is an alternative. Tie a cord around one of the table legs' cross pieces and another object. It will work with a doorknob, a chair leg, or a sofa leg. To extend and lock the legs, simply press two buttons with your thumbs and gently pull the table top back. Carry out the same procedure on the other side of the table. It's not difficult. br>br>My wife entered the room while I was laying on the floor, all contorted with my legs around table legs and cords tied to furniture legs. For us, this was the ideal option. When we go camping, we bring a 36-inch Coleman Roadtrip XL grill. My 6'4" husband couldn't cook on the grill because it had [removable] legs. He had a habit of stooping over the grill. We wanted something we could fold and take with us, something that could withstand a little heat (the grill doesn't put out a lot of heat toward the bottom), and something that was bar-friendly. height. Tables, grill stands, and mobile kitchens were among the items we examined. whatever you want to call it; and couldn't find anything tall enough to allow him to grill comfortably. This table is ideal, and the price is so low that we've already decided to buy another one for general use. It's a little heavy, but with a folded size of 24x48, storage isn't an issue, even in our RV basement. Yes, the lower the number, the more stable it is - However, even at its highest point, it is far more stable than the grill was with the included legs. With a width of 48", it provides ample space for plates of food, cooking utensils, and other items. There are few things in life that are flawless, but this table is ideal for our needs.
For my home daycare, I purchased this table. It arrived in perfect condition, with no assembly required. This table exceeds my expectations for the price, and it is extremely easy to clean. br>I'm on the verge of purchasing a second one.
This is a workhorse of a table. It has a great appearance and is extremely stable. The first thing I did after taking it out of the box was sit in the middle of the table to test its stability. The table had no flex at all, and I am 210 pounds. I bought it to use as a test model for a tutoring center I'm opening, and when I got there one day, my contractor had set up a massive saw on it and was cutting wood. After he was finished, I took a look at the table, and it looked exactly the same as it did when it first came out of the box. It's difficult to find a well-made product these days, but you can't go wrong with this one if you want a strong, sturdy table.
