Questions & Answers
I've used both and find them to be equally reliable.
Just be careful, my son is only 23 lbs and he was sitting in one of them. I had the high chair on a round table, and the table nearly tipped over with my son in it. Thank goodness I was right next to him!
It's been washed a few times now. Remove the cardboard, hang to dry, and you're good to go. My granddaughter is almost two years old and is on the verge of outgrowing her clothes. It was an excellent substitute for the high chair.

The majority of the time, the high chairs in restaurants are sticky, and the germs from sick children are spread throughout. They don't sanitize them before they use them. When we go out to eat with my grandson, I simply sit him next to me in the booth; he adores this chair. I like the rubber grips on the table because it's very sturdy and gives me a good grip. Chicco was extremely generous and sent me a replacement because I had installed the arms incorrectly and was unable to separate them, rendering it useless. It wasn't a problem with the item's warranty; rather, it was a problem with the user. Me.
I placed an order for five different types of these seats. I didn't let myself see the prices so I wouldn't just pick the cheapest option. Of course, I went with the most expensive option, but it demonstrates the high level of design and functionality. The tray, shoulder straps, clamp style, color, roominess, leg holes, and portability are all features I appreciate. My 6 Mo. The 17-pound girl adores it and gets giddy when she gets to sit with the rest of the group.
A very sharp wire began poking out a few weeks ago; it's right at my son's eye level, so he could walk by and poke himself in the eye at any time; I have to remember to push the sharp wire back in every time; we've only had this item for a little over a year; it shouldn't have broken down so quickly.
I was hesitant to use a clip-on high chair because I didn't think it would be safe. I was also unsure if it would fit on our table due to the large lip. My one-year-old loves sitting in it because it fits perfectly and securely. I wish there was a denim blue version of this model. I almost went with a no-name brand version because the color was more appealing, but I decided to go with the name brand for the added assurance of safety. It's a good thing I did!.
I'm so happy I purchased it! When visiting family, it is extremely useful. It's incredibly simple to use and store in the car. The only feature I wish it had is an attachable table tray, which I've seen on other similar products. However, because those other products are so expensive, I decided I could do without one. This was a great deal. At home, I'm not sure I'd use it on a daily basis. Simply keep it in your car in case you need it while you're out. It has a high level of safety. My 9-month-old (21-pound) daughter enjoys bouncing around in it, but it's safe because it's so tight on the table.
The chair was great at first; it wasn't "easy" enough to take to restaurants or move to a different table, but it was perfect for a stationary high chair. However, after only one wash, it began to rip in the corner near the legs. My son isn't hyper when he's in the chair, so I know it's not from use. It's more likely that it happened while doing the laundry. Unfortunately, because the chair is difficult to spot clean, it will need to be machine or hand washed every now and then, but it appears that this will be the chair's demise.
They want to know how comfortable you are. That's ridiculous because I can't sit in it and my 7-month-old daughter can't communicate with me to tell me if it's safe. Aside from that, it's simple to put together and install on your dining room table. It's well-made and offers good value for money. The only drawback is that it contains far too much space. What percentage of babies do they believe are overweight? To keep my daughter centered, we had to pile towels all around her. She is pulling her legs out and wants to stand in it now that she is older and has better balance. There's simply too much space in this, and knowing what I know now, I wouldn't buy it. It's not bad; however, I'd prefer one with a smaller baby compartment.
br>For small babies, the seatbelt isn't ideal because it pushes them back too far or isn't tight enough to prevent them from escaping. br>I would strongly recommend if I could fix the seatbelt. Overall, we enjoy it and find it simple to transition from the kitchen bar to my husband's computer desk. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> The bracing bars are constantly bowing out, making us concerned for our hyperactive child's safety. We switched to a booster seat and are still debating whether or not to toss this one because of its shoddy design.
