My height is 6 feet and my weight is 310 pounds. Yes, I'm a chubby chubby chubby chubby chubby it's time to move on I needed a chair that could a) support my weight and b) be comfortable to sit in for extended periods of time. The instructions for putting the item together are adequate. The pictures could have been a little clearer, and the stickers could have been placed in the proper spots, but assembly took about 45 minutes. br>br>When I first sat in this chair, I was looking forward to it. Ouch. Are you able to see the side supports on the seat edges? Thin padding on top of metal, that's for sure. On the chair, can you see the 'wings' that are about hip height? Over the metal, there is a thin layer of padding. This chair actively discourages you from settling in. br>br>The armrests do move up and down. My forearms are about 2 inches lower in the 'up' position than they are in the 'down' position. My hips are supported in the 'down' position. br>br>Without a doubt, a smaller man would be comfortable in this chair. If you're 5'7" tall, you're a good candidate for this If you shop at Big Lots, you can use this and be fine. Stores with a high ceiling should be avoided.
It's awe-inspiring to look at and. kind of. It's simple to put together even if you don't have any instructions. I had a problem with one of the bolts not catching properly, and it was due to a piece of material from the seat being stuck in it. They didn't line up the punch/cut into the upholstery correctly with one bolt hole, so I had to trim more material off to get it out of the way, and it was the last bolt I had to put in for the hinge with the lever. br>br>It took me a little more than an hour to put it together, and I had to refer to the instructions several times. However, having to do everything yourself (DIY) is a challenge. I didn't feel obligated to fix it, or I would have double-checked the parts before assembling it. A quarter-inch of material had to be removed from the overflap. Granted, because it's hidden beneath the lean-to, you can't see it. I'm not sure if the seat's upholstery was harmed as a result of the back mechanism, but br>br>In comparison to what I expected, the seat is also extremely firm. For my bum, it isn't the most agronomic. I'm thinking about getting a cushion for this because there's no give where it should be. If you're a 6 hour a day gamer or spend a lot of time at your computer, it's definitely not made for constant use. br>br>It sits tall for my desk, which is nice; however, I have to use a stool because I need it at the tallest height to comfortably sit at my desk, and I can't reach the floor (I can't blame the chair or my desk-- I'm short (I'm only 5'2in tall). This is a good chair for people who work at a taller desk. The leaning mechanism is also stuck. br>br> I'm not planning on sleeping in this chair, and I prefer to sit upright, but it's a bit of a letdown given that it's an advertised feature. down. The seat hinges were rigged into place because they did not sit properly. br>br>The back and seat are well-made, with decent upholstery and very nice embroidery of the Arc Reactor symbol. The hydraulics work, but they aren't perfect. They don't have a lot of slickness. br>br>As much as this cost me (Prime, a total of $181USD), while I don't regret the purchase as a Marvel fan, I believe there are better chairs for around the same price. I justified it by pointing out that shipping alone on some chairs would be around $25, and Iron Man is a licensed property, so this is official merch. No manufacturer is perfect. I have read reviews that mention that the hole in the leather doesn not match the threaded holes 100%. Let's get this party started. It isn't a big deal. It's a smidgeon off, but guess what? Leather has a tendency to stretch. In less than 20 minutes, I was able to assemble this chair. The ease of use is excellent. The armrests are a personal preference. Yes, I'm wearing them in the photo, but that's just to show how fully assembled the chair is. I've never used them before, and I'm not planning on doing so now. I play a lot of video games, and sitting in this chair is very comfortable for long periods of time. I'm a huge Marvel fan, and the design is amazing. The cost is extremely reasonable. I didn't want to pay twice as much for a Secret Lab chair, so I chose one that was half the price and had a better design. ) I would strongly suggest it.

I decided it was past time to invest in a proper gaming chair - Why not go all out and get this one from Marvel? Honestly? It's something I'm a little sorry for. I'm not sure what it is about this chair, but sitting in it for more than an hour or two causes severe discomfort. The lumbar support is in the right place; it's something to do with the base that I'm having trouble figuring out. All I know is that half of the time when I get up to go to bed at night, I'm relieved to be out of the chair, which I don't believe is the case. br>br>Some people said I just needed to break it in — I've been 'breaking it in' for the past five years. For a month, work 6 hours per day. It's been broken in for a while now, and it's not working for me. I'm not sure I want to get rid of it because it's so cool. But I'm going to have to get a new chair again, and I'm not happy about it.
