Because I have to wrap the bottles in a small hand towel to keep them from rattling around, I use small bubble wrap.
I have no idea what the dimensions are, so I put a wine bottle in the cubbies. Although I could be mistaken, I don't believe a toilet paper roll will fit.
The wine bottle holder caught my eye and I decided to buy it. Sadly, the handle had come loose - The tack had come undone. I hammered it back in, but it became loose once more. This occurred without the use of a bottle (or any significant weight). Because of this, I wouldn't recommend it.
There is no insulation, but there is a felt-like material layer.

This item was ideal for my requirements. First and foremost, it appears to be exactly as depicted in the photographs. The stain colors are beautiful, and the faux aging is convincing. Despite its low price, it is well-made and has that vintage feel to it. I was aiming for a worldly appearance. It was intended to be used as a gift box rather than a storage box when I purchased it. As a gift for my father, I filled it with a bottle of high-end bourbon and a bottle of single malt scotch. There was still some wiggle room after the bottles were in, and I didn't want them to clink around, so I stuffed a little craft straw into the voids to keep the antique look. The leather straps snap shut perfectly, and the metal clasp secures the lid in place. My only caution is to pick up the entire box with two hands once the bottles are in, as the top leather carrying strap may not be strong enough to support the additional weight. Overall, it's an excellent container for making gift bottles more visually appealing.

I bought this for a good friend for Christmas and it mostly looks nice and fits standard *height* bottles (could fit some wider than standard, but not much taller, as I The wood used also feels thin and flimsy in places, and I'm not convinced the handle can support the weight of two wine bottles, but I don't have any proof of that. It's just my personal opinion of the product. br>br>Instead of being stained, it would be nice if the box had some kind of lining. but- Wood that hasn't been treated in any way. I believe that having that and making it feel/look a little more solid would help to improve the product and make it a more appealing gift. br>br>It was also delayed several times after it was supposed to be shipped, which was extremely inconvenient.
It makes for a very impressive gift package when filled with two good bottles of wine. My package was in perfect condition when it arrived. Although the shipping box was scuffed, the wine box was undamaged and free of flaws. It's worth noting that the box will act as a kind of intelligence test for the people you're giving it to. The uninitiated will have a hard time determining whether the straps and buckles are required to open. Hopefully they won't start drinking until they've unboxed your present. ) I'm going to buy something else.
It's a wine box, technically. But it's ideal for storing my favorite incense boxes in a discreet manner in my little heaven. It's tall enough to accommodate even the tallest boxes and long-nosed lighters! br>I was concerned that the front belts were real, and that I would have to struggle to open the box when needed, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the front belts are actually push buttons, which are more decorative than functional! The latch is responsible for keeping the box closed. My box is in perfect condition, with no flaws. I also enjoy the smell of the stained wood. I am overjoyed. br>For my needs, it's ideal, and I believe it's strong enough for its intended purpose as a wine box. I'd probably carry the box by the handle rather than by hand. This wine box is quite lovely. I have another one that is leather and beautifully crafted, but it lacks the deep tones of this one. After being stung by yellow jackets several times, I like to keep one near each entry door, along with a full can or two of wasp spray. It will bite me if it stings and is even slightly close. This, according to my husband, is because I am of the "poke it to see if it bites" school of nature communing. It's mostly because I'm small, and he notices them approaching and ducks back inside, saying, "hey, you want to look at those things on the porch?" "This has a divided container inside that will do more than protect wine bottles, but it means I'll have to work a little harder to fit my natural garden spray and sunscreen for the pool into it. " It's certainly preferable to the mess. Guests are either disappointed and horrified that I'm making chemicals until they see our mosquitoes, or they're blown away that we have such easy access to bug spray and sunscreen - Everything is hidden from view. This would be an excellent and affordable gift for a special wedding or anniversary present, filled with a beautiful bottle or two of wine; it's lovely, appears to be well made, and I don't think you'll be disappointed.
The quality is extremely poor. The front side looks great, but the back panels aren't glued down at all. I had to get some gorilla glue and try my hardest to make it stick by putting a marble platter on it for 24 hours; the back side seam was also cracked and falling apart. I had to reposition it and re-glue the crack to make it straight. I expected a lot more quality for the price I paid. I would have returned it, but it is a Christmas gift, and there is no way I could return it in time. It is very cute, but poorly put together.
I added two wine bottles and am hesitant to hold it by the handle, but it has held up well the few times I have done so. The walls are very thin, but the look is very nice for the price; I would buy it again, and there have been no problems thus far. It lasted from the time of transportation to the wedding day for the wine box ceremony!.
