The customer service was excellent for the broken pieces. Like I said, I have put a lot of pieces together like this before so I knew it would take a lot of time. This one took about two hours. It took 5 hours to create a piece of furniture that looks great and is extraordinarily It is important to mention that when something this heavy is shipped by UPS or Fed Ex there is always the possibility that it will get damaged. 2 of the major pieces were damaged when it arrived. It was easy to identify each piece because every piece had a sticker indicating its part number. My company's customer service department sent me 2 replacement pieces within a couple of days after I contacted them. I think it's important that we are patient and not in a hurry to get it done. Instructions are very clear, but they must be followed exactly. For the price you pay, it is a great.

Overall, it is OK, but the most noticeable flaw is the counter top section. The finish is inconsistent across the surface, and the edge banding has odd dots sticking out of it on one of the edges (as an island, and not against a wall). I like the hardware, and assembly was not difficult. The materials were not of the highest quality, but the design is good. The OK value is a positive number.

Wood quality seems to be mediocre and the material is at the low end of density. Water bubbled up from a vase that was on top and soon there was a stain. As well as the color faded, so did the bluish tint. The assembling steps were inconsistent with the manual and instructions, so we had to reassemble parts a couple of There is a slight wobble in the stand, as the four legs do not line up.

About one hour was spent assembling the kit, a bit more than expected. It was worth it to me, though. The amount of storage is good. The top of the counter is easy to clean. It was a great deal for the island!.

While this cabinet is a good storage option, it is a bit challenging to put together, and it merely comes with simple drawer slides and hinges. In reality, it is not too big of a problem, we've enjoyed this cabinet, and it looks nice.

It would be nice if it had never been opened or used, but it has obviously been used or at least some parts of it have been used. Scratches and damages were found on some of the paintings. The packaging is damaged, and I do not want to have to repack it and return it. What I could touch up I covered up and what I could not, I hid.
