I adore this end table; it's the perfect size and price. I was surprised by how sturdy and well-made it is for the price. I'm not sure what other people are talking about when it comes to assembly issues; I didn't even need power tools. The back panel screws are designed to go straight into the frame, no pre-drilling required. I'm guessing those people didn't even try to drill holes. I completed the project with a simple screw driver and minimal effort, and I even made a minor error by simply unscrewing the frame and flipping the box, demonstrating that you can easily correct your errors. Even with a 1-year-old crawling all over me, I was able to put it together in under 30 minutes.
Even if it tried, the instruction manual could not be more ambiguous. You'll need a cordless power drill for this step because you'll be installing screws that aren't pre-installed. holes that have been drilled Also, make sure it's done correctly, because once construction begins, there's no going back. Unlike a lot of other "assembly by numbers" furniture available on Amazon. Considering the price, the engineering quality, and how long I plan on keeping it (it will transition to a guest bedroom once I get a proper nightstand), I would not buy this nightstand again.
There is good news. Unfortunately, the news isn't all that good. The instructions are a little vague and don't provide nearly as much assistance as they should. There are only a few small illustrations, which you must carefully study to ensure that the boards are assembled correctly and not upside down. br>br>Here's some good news: It looks nice and is very sturdy once you've put it together. br>br>Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase; however, I wish the manual was more user-friendly so that assembly would take less time.
I needed something to hide all of my cable boxes and modem in a small space, so I bought this little cabinet. I was blown away by how well it turned out. The product was very easy to put together; however, having a screw gun will make things a lot easier. For the fires to come through, I drilled a 1 1/2-inch hole in the side.
It took about 15 minutes to put together a power driver assembly. It will take 20 minutes. A lovely nightstand or end table in a smaller size. To keep dust out, I'm thinking of putting some mesh behind the door vents. It's not difficult to put together if you've done similar jobs or enjoy puzzles. Just take your time and line up your pieces the way they're oriented in the instructions. Advantages: br>br> All parts, including bags containing screws and attachments, are clearly labeled. br>- 2 Allen wrenches are included (along with Allen tip bits and a power driver to speed up assembly)br>- 1 additional attachment screw and dowel are includedbr>- The fit and finish are excellent. br>* Sturdybr>br>Con:
- The assembly instructions are all pictures, which is great except for the fact that you have to pay close attention to the hole orientation when putting it together. Also, the magnetic latch (which I put in backwards and had to fix later).
- A Philips screwdriver will be required (a power screwdriver will make the job much easier!). )
- There are no pre-drilled holes for the six small Philips that hold the back together. A power screwdriver comes in handy in this situation.
- Unless the entire mid portion of the door is flipped prior to side rail assembly, the door can only open in one direction. As a result, the magnetic door catch will be at the bottom of the door, which can be a problem.
It was exactly what we needed in that location. It was simple to put together and appears to be of good quality.
It arrived tonight, already assembled, and in excellent condition. By the loveseat's arms, it's the ideal height. It's perfect; I'd buy it again, and I'm considering some of the other pieces that go with it.
It took a long time to put together. Because the back piece had no holes and some of the holes were too shallow for the screws, you'll need to use a power tool. To bore out the holes and install the screws, I had to enlist the help of a friend. It was never stated that I would require additional tools to complete this task. I followed the instructions to the letter, and it appears to be in good working order. For an end table, there was a lot of aggravation.
