Mattresses range from 12 to 18 inches in length. Our bed frame is 18 inches and then our mattress is another 12. You cannot go wrong with this height and the lamp matches beautifully! I got it a day early. Easy to put together even though I took a little while to assemble the first one. Took me about an hour to assemble both at the same time! Although everything is heavy, it is also very sturdy. All the gear you need included! Several drawers can hold a lot of stuff and are great for holding a variety of items. My love for these has no bounds! I love this vibe of a farm house industrial.

These are two of the items I bought. Songmics products were actually purchased in a total of tens or more. A television, 2 nightstands, 4 dressers, three cube storage units, a jewelry armoire/mirror, and shelving. In general, I loved the brand and company, but I have a real issue with the quality of the product purchased through Amazon. A family friend of mine is redoing a bedroom in his house and real wood is just too expensive, so he found Songmics and tried it. *These nightstands are sturdy and beautifully made, BUT not as sturdy as they could be. There are large scratches on at least one visible part of one of the dressers and two of the nightstands I bought. It is a bit of a hassle to take them apart to return, and Amazon is not very helpful. Therefore, I would suggest that you double and triple check all of your pieces before assembling. I am still deciding if I can hide the scratches or if I will return the item. Songmics is a great game aside from the scratches!.

On top of all that, ALL the hardware (screws, bolts, etc) came in It's a win for me just by itself! While you won't be able to leave it to your heirs in your will, it is a very well-made, durable item. It is a low cost but good quality side table that we highly recommend! It is unlikely that anything will change, but I will let you know if anything does.

Light items can be kept in the drawers (we keep gloves, hats in them during the winter). These are not like those fabric baskets that you can get at Target with a wooden piece glued on Despite the fact that it sounds terrible, it actually looks pretty good.

Initially, I was a little apprehensive about the solid front of the fabric drawers however, they look great and seem quite reliable. This was followed. You probably have to screw the unit into the wall since it topples each time the drawers are opened. It is impossible to place anything of actual weight, except maybe socks or a tee-shirt The shirt. That was a very disappointing experience for me. My money would have been better spent on the real thing if I'd paid more.

Drawers without actual wood veneer are canvas with fake wood paneling (wtf? It has been mentioned in others' reviews but I was not quite clear on what they meant. It looks like it's so.

I would say that sometimes it's worth a few extra dollars if you get something made of the material you want and there is assembly to consider as well. This is fine as a kid's room or closet, but I wouldn't use it as a feature bookshelf, unless you're planning to dorm in it. It's best to leave it alone for now, but it's a You'll see that the drawers are made of fabric after reading the description. I am pretty sure you will like it if that's fine with you.
