As an assembly worker, I found it to be one of the most enjoyable projects I've attended. It's obvious that the employees at Nathan James have a good sense of humor and understand that the traditional instructions haven't worked. Yes, it is laminate over particle board, but that is pretty much what you would expect anywhere these days. Despite its age, it still feels heavy and sturdy, and the laminate grain and coloration are attractive to me. I wasn't able to iron the fabric basket because I was lazily lazy, and decided to steam it instead - wrinkly fabric notwithstanding, it was pretty cute. Over time and with gravity, wrinkles will be smoothed out. In addition, it was instantly accepted by cats. In terms of a table, what more do you want?.

The product looks exactly like the picture and it has storage for my dog's toys, just what I was looking for. As I tried to put my new table together, I broke the original table I bought. Customer service at Nathan James has been amazing. They sent me a new table on the spot without any questions! With the second table, I had no problems at all, and it seems pretty sturdily built. Having seen the product in my living room, I love the way it looks on my wall and would definitely order from them again in the future.

I just want to say how horrible it is! It fell apart while I was putting it together, so don't get it. It must be said that I'm pretty good at putting things Buying this will prove to be a bad idea if you have kids or if you have a dog. It will last a few days at most before falling apart. Also, don't plan on putting weight on it, it will certainly fall apart. If you consider that the top and bottom "wood" pieces are pretty much sawdust, it should be easy to visualize how well the screws stay in place. You could buy something better if you save your time and money.

In spite of the description The materials include There are three tops to the table The wood is made of rustic oak with a protective layer. The following components can be found in the table The wood tabletop appears to be wrapped around particle board furniture. I doubt it's real wood as it appears to be wrapped like normal wood furniture. This product does not resemble real wood in appearance or feel. On either side of the leg, the seems of the wrap are visible. By reading the false description, I believe I have been taken advantage of and misled. I found the quality to be way below what I expected, so the pricing is definitely overpriced.

Also, the color of the legs and the basket differ. It wasn't before we had thrown away the packing materials that we realized this. The customer service person at Nathan James was wonderful to work with. We were not only given a correct table, but told to keep the dark table (we will donate it to Goodwill) and two weeks later the company's founder apologized and sent a small packet of Godiva truffles as a thank you gift. This is amazing!.

My idea was for it to be placed in between two reading chairs, where we could put our hot tea and some reading materials. I felt that this would be a good fit. As it is made of metal, I did not have to worry about rings and stains on it the same way I did with wood (and my spouse doesn't believe in coasters as firmly as I do). A particular problem is that the wood composite that Ikea uses in many of its furniture pieces is not waterproof, and the surface will bubble and deteriorate easily. It was a lesson I learned the hard way and I did not want to make that mistake again. It is made of metal, but it is lightweight, and it lacks all the drawbacks you would deal with with a similar product made of wood. It is the first table I have seen with raised edges, and I am wondering In addition to keeping spills and rolly things from spilling onto the floor, it also keeps them on the table. It is a nice, spacious basket with plenty of room for all the reading material we have currently. I enjoy coming home and enjoying a hot tea as we pull out books and magazines from the basket. This is what we usually do upon returning home. The size of the bed I wanted was not big since we live in NYC and bedrooms here are usually In addition, we decided not to purchase a large side table as we had purchased smaller reading chairs. I have tried to follow the directions many times, but each time I failed. There is an apparent problem with the alignment of the holes in the basket. It was disappointing. Nevertheless, I plan to keep the table. It is the ideal size for me. It's not too hard to assemble. As the basket is pretty short, maybe a blanket or some books will fit inside. Since mine will not be attached to the table, I am not sure if it will hold up well.
