It's not clear to me. My son's dorm is out of town. I had to order it for him. His dorm room was the perfect place for it. I ordered it because he dropped and cracked his phone before I ordered. This is a very sturdy product.
Putting it together is rather easy, however when you try to make the bed the comforter sticks out rather than draping. We had to return it because it looked horrible when you tried to make the bed. You need to measure your bed frame in order to ensure that it is not too wide for the measurements provided on bed frame

I too had the problem of not having a rubber stopper on my mounting screws, which someone else previously mentioned in their review. Below are some pictures you can see. Thus, I am not able to mount this shelf as it will completely destroy the surface where it will be mounted. It will be returned as soon as possible. The box itself has the stopper in every image of the shelf, from the product description to the images of the shelf itself This would seem to be an oversight on the part of the manufacturer.

I am disappointed that they did not do a simple I don't want the incomplete tray, so I am returning it. Neither a complete tray, nor asking for the missing parts was offered to exchange it for. This has disappointed me greatly.
