My new bed seems to be just what I've been looking for. Sooner or later. In T and T So I didn't get my wish right away, since I was sent a king foundation with my queen mattress. I was able to put it together quite easily once I received the proper base. In the first week, there was definitely an odor that is now better but still noticeable a week later. It has a silky covering that feels smooth on the skin Easy to handle. Only one observation I made was that it is so slippery on the foundation that the mattress is easily moved around. Trying to roll over and move around on the T & G Compared to one of the better mattresses, sleeping on an N mattress is much more comfortable Mattresses made with memory foam do not have a quicksand-like feel. Even though I am still in the adjustment phase of switching from an innerspring bed to a foam one, I am already convinced I made an excellent decision.
Although I don't think it could be considered a box spring (since there are no springs), it is used to raise the mattress up higher on the bed. After assembling the tabletop I was pleasantly surprised by its sturdiness and ease of assembly. The fabric covered wood planks that roll out to form the top were the most challenging. I felt they were sized slightly off (a couple inches short I think). In the box frame, there was Velcro that folded down to the edges but it did not seem to stick very securely. The mattress remained in place once it was over the box spring, so they are unlikely to move.
Overall, there was no sagging or give at all on top of the box foundation, so it doesn't appear that it is a problematic mattress. (2 adults and 2 dogs) each weigh 140 pounds.
I was able to assemble the unit in no time. I was able to fit it inside my Queen bed frame without any problems. There are two extremely minor negatives The slats could have used some more Velcro on the edges to help hold them in place, and a few of them appeared to have slight warping. It is certain they will sit on top of the heavy mattress and flatten out. All in all, it seems to be pretty sturdy. I was able to fit this inside the bed rails of my bed frame because it was the perfect height. My sheets fit on top just an inch above the rail so it is easier for me to tuck them in.

Box Foundation is one of the best. I found it easy to assemble. My mattress feels so different with this foundation below it that I find it hard to believe. Since adding the foundation to the bed, it feels more comfy and sturdy, and I now sleep better. Getting up in the morning does not make me feel handicapped. Lol, this bed is so comfortable that I don't even want to get out of it. The T&E account I use is no longer active My mattress is not yet a priority, but I plan to buy one in the near I purchased this box foundation for a foam mattress, which makes a world of difference in comfort.
